Natural ADHD Solutions Summit
👉 5 Day Summit
👉 3 Speakers per day, 15 total
👉 Initial launch was a Facebook live summit.
👉 Part of a bigger project that is a docu-series called the truth about ADHD.
👉 One episode released each day for six days
👉 I got the idea to do this by watching a woman being interviewed and she put a couple of the pieces together and I thought, wow, that's an amazing way to generate interest and momentum onto the Facebook presence, onto the social media presence, bring more people in, more audiences in all at once that then we can launch out the, the Docu-series, you know, off the back of the momentum of that.
👉 With technology we can prerecord some of the interviews and then launch them as lives at the right times.
👉 So we promoted it on the Facebook page for a couple of weeks beforehand and then just dropped each episode on the Facebook timeline.
👉I left the interviews up for the entire week and then we brought them down after that rather than sort of the traditional up one day and down the next day.
👉 We repackaged it as a more traditional type of summit
👉 Providing parents with natural or holistic methods of treatment rather than kind of the, the standard western, you know, give them psychiatric drugs and send them on their way kind of thing
👉 With technology we can prerecord some of the interviews and then launch them as lives at the right times.
What He Is Proud Of And Likes About Doing Summits
👉 There is something specific when you are doing a live setting. You can't go back and edit.
👉 There is an edge like your performing on stage
👉 We brought more realness to the table.
👉 Got tremendous feedback
👉 It was relatively seamless
What He Would Change If He Could Redo His Summit
👉 More help dealing with the guests and the speakers.
👉 Juggling peoples schedules and times, their challenging technical issues.
👉 Keeping speakers on top of promotion.
Strategy Behind Promotion
👉 Since the first summit launch was a Facebook live event, we focused primarily on Facebook.
👉 Cross promotion/being interviewed on other Facebook live events.
👉 Have the guests leverage their audiences.
👉 I cut a minute or two out of their interview to drop and give to their audiences.
👉 Emailing is more trackable than running on Facebook.
👉 Leveraging speakers Facebook groups.
Changing Lives
👉 At least four or five different parents reach out and say, you know, I'm so glad that I saw this interview because everything we were trying wasn't working or they were talking exactly about my child.
👉 To then see that immediate feedback from parents who heard that and then you sought the right expert and got their kids help was pretty cool.
