Are Summits Really Dead?

 💡 "No they're not. What's dead are probably the bad summits - that's part of the challenges that people come into this industry thinking, "Oh yeah, I've seen a summit. I can do a summit and knock it out of the park" - and know you're not doing it right. You're making mistakes along the way and it tanks and therefore then you walk away with the attitude."

 

  💡  "Probably the bigger mistake I've seen some hosts do is try and rush it. They try and get it done in two or three weeks. And how could you, you would never expect a major orchestrated event to be a success or land a large result if you were rushing it within a couple of weeks"

 

 

Insider Information:

  1. Promote your guest speaker more and protect them.
  2. You don't have to pay for your guest speaker - although that's an option, but it's totally not necessary.
  3. Negotiate with your guest speaker on how to give back to them if you don't prefer a monetary transaction, like Promoting them more, Giving them Lead Magnets, Webinar partnership, Promotional Emails, Blog posts, etc.

 

Ways To Monetize and Scale Your Summit

 

  👍  Sell the recordings. Make your recordings available for a short time, say 48 hours and pull it down after that. Those who purchases, gets to download and keep it or have a lifetime access of it.

 
👍  Talk to your guest speaker about giving bonuses like a Book or Coaching Sessions.

 

  👍  Get creative with it.
