Frequently Asked Questions

Do both my spouse and I need to join ?

No! We believe that marriage is a "one flesh union" and so you only need one membership per couple!

After you join, we'll ask if your spouse would like to create a complementary account so that they can log into Cana Feast separately. And you can definitely both join the private facebook group as well!

I'm not Catholic / not Christian. Will I be comfortable in this program ?

Please know that we love and appreciate you, and that you are welcome here just as you are!

We're not out to convert you or judge you. We're out to help you grow in your relationship with your spouse! In this program, we will discuss Catholic teachings and the Catholic understanding of marriage and family life. We encourage you to approach the content in Cana Feast with an open mind.

Imagine that you were invited to a wedding in a culture you aren't familiar with. You would certainly recognize some things: a bride, a groom, a vow: But there would undoubtedly be many symbols or rituals that would be new to you. Now imagine that your friend who invited you leans over and explains all the different symbolism and meaning. Sure you might not adopt that culture as your own, but you would certainly have a deeper appreciation for it. It would become less mysterious and more understandable. Let Cana Feast be your friend, explaining our understanding of marriage and family life.

We also combine our Catholic understanding of marriage with research-based skills and insights. Those practical relationship skills will help anyone!

What if my spouse doesn't want to participate ?

This can still work! And maybe it's just what your marriage needs. One of the fundamental principles of the program is that you can't change someone else. (Okay, that's just a principle of life in general!)

Even if your spouse doesn't want to actively participate, you will learn simple and effective ways that you can change. And when you change yourself for the better, you change your relationship for the better.

So please be encouraged that you can improve your relationship and join us inside!
