Who is the instructor?

My name is Chef Julia, and I will be your instructor for this Instant Pot master class!

My mom taught me to cook growing up, and later in life, she opened up her own restaurant in our hometown. So, there are so many memories made in kitchens with her--and now in kitchens with you.

After serving in the US Navy, I decided to pursue cooking full time and went back to school to get a culinary degree. I served as a private chef for years before leaving that career to homeschool my two kids.

Fast forward to 2018 when I had the opportunity to start working here with Chop Secrets on the project with Instant Pot. I was so confident about being able to master the Instant Pot--maybe too confident!

We messed up so many dishes early on because I hadn't learned the basics yet. But with time and practice--and a lot of help from Elaine, our culinary director, I got up to speed quickly and we finally hit our stride.

Since then, we've produced over 250 recipe videos for the makers of the Instant Pot, and as we speak, we are about to be back in the studio to create 30 more!

So, as a busy mom and a teacher, I love when I get a chance to stop and create something in the kitchen -- especially if I get to share it with you!

What's Included?

All versions of this Instant Pot master class include six cook-along lessons plus the free Introduction Lesson.

Each lesson is between 15-30 minutes and walks you through a recipe, while teaching key Instant Pot principles along the way.
