It provides a robust look at thyroid hormone production and metabolism, as well as overall health by including a comprehensive metabolic panel, a complete blood count with differential, a lipid profile, hemoglobin A1c, vitamin D, C-Reactive Protein, along with a urinalysis. The thyroid portion of this panel includes TSH, free thyroxine index, T3 uptake, total and free T4, and T3, reverse T3, thyroglobulin antibody (Tg-AB) and thyroperoxidase antibody (TPO-Ab).

Important Note: This test requires 12-hr fasting. Blood and urine will be collected at your most convenient Labcorp facility.

Complete Blood Count (CBC) with differential helps to give an overall view of general health and screens for a broad scope of diseases and conditions, as well as the body's ability to defend against infection.

Is the test covered by my Health Insurance?

We do not bill directly to health insurance companies. However, if you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you may be able to claim test expenses. Please contact directly to the account provider to confirm if the test can be fully paid with this type of accounts. In most cases, testing and supplements are eligible.

Is the test available for people who live outside the US?

Prices are only for people residing in the United States.

Should I run the test if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Hormones fluctuate during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Therefore, we do not recommend running the test at least until the baby is born and your period has come back.

Should I run the test if I am under birth control pills, synthetic hormones or IUDs like Mirena?

The use of synthetic hormones may not show up in the test and may bring inaccurate values. Please read this information carefully before considering testing.

Is the test also available for men?

Absolutely! The test is available for men. It is increasing the incidence of male breast cancer and we also want them to check their hormones.
