This Module covers much material from the Intermediate Series, expanding upon the knowledge from Foundations with a focus on advanced biomechanical analysis of the body’s major joints and training in additional high-level diagnostics unique to P-DTR.
The Intermediate Series expands upon the knowledge from Foundations with a focus on advanced biomechanical analysis of the body’s major joints. This detailed, receptor-based diagnosis of the joints allows for the resolution of more complex pain and dysfunction presentations.
Students will learn powerful new proprietary diagnostics unique to P-DTR, such as Priority, Muscle Sequences, Anaerobic and Aerobic Metabolic Dysfunctions in addition to biomechanics of the shoulder, knee, hip, foot and ankle, elbow, and TMJ.
This Module covers material from both the latter part of the Intermediate series and the beginning of the Advanced series. The Intermediate series wraps up with in depth mechanics of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, as well as assessment spinal coupled motions.
The Advanced series explores the physiology of body systems. Students will learn how to assess viscera to pinpoint local and referred pain patterns and recognize ileocecal valve conditions. They will gain a better understanding of energy production issues typical in Krebs Cycle and Essential Fatty Acid Metabolism dysfunctions.
Topics covered in this Module will also include food sensitivities, neurological teeth, retrograde lymphatics, baroreceptors, alkalosis, and more.
This Module covers material from the Advanced series, taking students on an in depth exploration of dysfunctions in both cranial and peripheral nerves. After a thorough introduction to neuroanatomy, students will learn about how to assess and treat for cranial nerve issues such as sensitivity to smell, sound, and light, double vision, dizziness, and more.
The peripheral nervous system is also a major focus of this Module, covering how peripheral nerve entrapments occur and the physiological changes accompanying them, as well as a comprehensive overview of anatomy, common symptoms and syndromes, and sites of entrapment for each of the nerves in the cervical, brachial, lumbar, and sacrococcygeal plexuses.
Topics covered in this Module will also include primitive reflexes that are retained and reoccur beyond appropriate developmental age.
Upon completion of the Advanced Series, students will have the tools to correct virtually any type of proprioceptive dysfunction possible in the human nervous system.
