Regenerative & Tiny Home Communities Nelson-Tasman area Think Tank
For Who
For leaders/facilitators of housing projects in the Nelson-Tasman area that incorporate tiny homes and seek to have regenerative outcomes (economic, social, ecological, and cultural benefits to residents and the wider-community).
Purpose:
To maximize effectiveness by sharing resources, advocacy efforts with the councils, local successes, and research to advance our regenerative and tiny home projects.
Format
We had a first meeting on 10 July 2023 at Riverside Community. We discussed to meet perhaps at least quarterly to share in person. There could be a messenging group set up. Notes taken of each meeting are sent out to those on the list.
Regenerative & Tiny Home Communities Country-Wide Think Tank
For Who:
For leaders/facilitators of housing projects anywhere in Aotearoa NZ that incorporate tiny homes and seek to have regenerative outcomes (economic, social, ecological, and cultural benefits to residents and the wider-community).
Purpose:
To maximize effectiveness by sharing resources, advocacy efforts, local successes, and research to advance our regenerative and tiny home projects.
To create a template and roadmap for the ease and affordability of creating regenerative community-led neighbourhoods that include tiny homes throughout the country.
Format
We meet fortnightly over Zoom, every second Friday at 9:30am, to share information, resources, and make steps towards achieving set goals. A text messenger group is a secondary communication tool.
We could change the date, time, and messenging format so it's best to sign up to receive the most up to date information.
