Amazon is changing and evolving and private label is the most successful type of business model on amazon. It resolves all the issues that sellers face in arbitrage & wholesale but needless to say amazon PL sellers have their work cut out for them.

Let’s talk about finding products..
set your expectations right..Are you creating an import centric PL business or Brand centric PL.. THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT question you want to answer first in order to find your perfect product. Most of the PL currently on Amazon is Import centric and facing the advertising headwinds.. Profits are plummeting because the margins are so low to begin with.. This is what most sellers end up in because they dont want to do extra work to build the brand or an audience to sell to. So what happens is there is a mismatch in expectations and reality.
