I'm Pamela Langan, a Career Success Coach helping people to get promoted, achieve happiness their careers, feel empowered in their workplace, achieve the pay rise they desire, create limitless success and work towards their next 2-3 career moves.
I graduated university with a degree and within 3 years I was promoted to a senior management position by the age of 25, managing a huge customer service department.
I was earning treble what others were earning combined and I had a hunger and a desire to keep climbing.
Rather than being satisfied with my progress, I continued to study, develop my transferable skills, learn everything there was to know about getting promoted and chased the pay rises. Then, at the age of 27, I took a complete U-turn, quit my high profile job and the salary that came with it and focussed instead on helping others to fast-track their own career, achieve fulfilment in their jobs, get the role they deserve, some involving complete career changes following a ‘deep dive’ into their lives, hidden desires, and ambitions.
Climbing the career ladder, getting a pay rise, or creating a career plan is easy when you know how.
In the years to follow I have set up a thriving business. I focussed on working 1-2-1 with clients and became a regular contributor in many career based journals.
In order to help more clients, and to avoid turning people away due to time limitations of working 1-2-1, I spent 12 months developing the ‘Career Success Academy’.
I am now able to help an abundance of people in a space where people previously had nowhere to turn, and I truly believe I am the happiest I have ever been being a Career Success Coach still teaching my original 1-2-1 ‘day one’ clients but also individuals just like you to plan, action and create a happy and fulfilled life through achieving a job that you love, the pay you deserve and most importantly a happy work/life balance.
I also still work with selected recruitment companies as a headhunter to discover perfect ‘fits’ for companies as well as advising on ‘Workplace Commandments’, to encourage an environment where employees thrive and succeed to create win/win situations.
Some of my existing Academy clients have gone from feeling unhappy in corporate jobs where they feel undervalued, underpaid and unfulfilled, to either getting promotions, pay rises or even in some cases, a complete change in career which now aligns closer with their ‘values’ giving them greater happiness and more time with their families.
Did all of this come easy?
Absolutely not!
If I’m honest, I wasted a lot of time when I first set up the academy trying to ‘crowd’ please.
I had a rigid ‘one size fits all’ approach which I assumed would help everyone.
I spent more time working 1-2-1 again with Academy Clients to ensure they were all being listened to as individuals.
Everything changed when I hired my own business mentor who changed the game for me.
I have spent thousands myself on wonderful coaches and Mastermind Groups that have genuinely helped me in my journey and enabled me to scale my Academy to add even more value than before and enable every individual to have access to me whilst at the same time helping hundreds of people at the same time.
I have put together and continue to add to my Career Success Academy which I am so passionate about as it is the one programme that has helped ‘every single person’ who has signed up - without fail!
I am so grateful for the journey that I am on and truly feel I am fulfilling my dream, helping others in crowded workplaces where it’s so easy for people to sometimes be seen as a commodity.
