Moisturisers for Dry Skin & Eczema
Did you know your skin is normally acidic (pH 5-5.5). Water has a pH of 7-7.5, so if you wash with water alone you will make your skin less acidic- this is a bad thing! (Soap is even worse! pH 8-9). Washing with water alone reduces the barrier function of your skin and also reduces the good fats/ lipids we need and increases the activity of harmful bacteria!

Use in morning and evening, and again if your skin feels dry or itchy. You cant use too much.
Cetraben is less staining on clothes than some other products.

to wash:
Cetraben Bath Additive
A a cupful to a luke warm bath to reduce further dryness of your skin.
Gently pat dry after washing and reapply moisturiser.
Hydromol Bath & Shower 1 litre
Use instead of shower gel & soaps if you have eczema or dry Skin. (Also useful for handwashing)
Don't expect to get any foam or lather, but its still getting you clean.

Moisturisers for Acne
CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion AM
This is for use in the morning and contains UV protection.
It is non comedogenic, so appropriate for acne prone skin.
You should use this alone, however if you find your skin is still dry you can also use the the 'PM' version at night- see below:
CeraVe Facial Moisturising Lotion PM
Use this moisturiser at night after cleansing. If you have been prescribed a retinoid, it doesn't really matter if you apply this before or after your retinoid.

I use Altruist on my own Family. The company is on a mission to reduce skin cancer. Their products are SPF (i.e. UVB protection) Factor 30 or 50 and UVA 5 stars (the tops rating!)
Altruist SPF 50, 5Star 2x 100ml
2 x 100ml pack, for use anywhere on body.
Apply before you go out and reapply every few hours.
Altruist SPF 30, 5Star UVA 2 x 200ml
2 x 200ml pack, for use anywhere on body.
Apply before you go out and reapply every few hours.
Altruist SPF 30, 5 Star UVA 1Litre
1 x 1000ml pack, for use anywhere on body.
Apply before you go out and reapply every few hours.
Skinceuticals UV Protection
It contains minerals to block UV rather than chemicals.
Sheer Mineral Matte SPF 30
This product is great for athletes and those who sweat a lot!
