Hi I'm Myrna

I'm a wife, toddler mom, educator, health & wellness coach, and enneagram coach.

Multi-passionate is an understatement. I care deeply about empowering women, helping mommas of littles create alignment in their lives, and ensuring students get a quality education regardless of their zip-code.

 

Why exist if not to inspire, love, and serve others? Feels like a harsh statement, but that’s my heart y’all. I just wanna love on some folks and inspire them to live their best lives.

my story


I gained more weight in my pregnancy than I had expected. I was over 200 pounds, didn’t recognize myself, and truly felt lost. Looking back, I realize that I believed gaining that much weight was wrong and I harshly judged myself for not snapping back within a month.

 

Desperate and determined, I discovered a program that truly began my transformation. Paired with a coach, I had the accountability and support to make the physical changes I desired. There was some mindset work, and that truly helped make some massive shifts in my physical self care. For 6 months I drank all my water daily, ate 6 times a day, and chose to be active as desired. In 6 months, I lost over 60 pounds and gained a whole lot of confidence. 

At my goal weight and maintaining for over a year, I was rocking it - but mentally things felt off. I just couldn’t help but beat myself up whenever I ate “off plan.”


Then it hit me. Within my 1ness is a tendency toward all or nothing thinking, right or wrong behavior, good or bad mindsets. I needed the rules because I desperately feared doing the wrong thing. But also, I didn’t trust my gut instincts to eat when hungry or stop when full. Listening to the health industry’s “rules” felt safer and kept me in compliance. 

 

It also kept me trapped. Until I decided I was going to own my life, my health, and my journey in what truly was a radical shift for me.

I ditched the rules and decided to trust me. I decided to trust my instincts and nope, I didn’t gain a ton of weight.

When I look in the mirror, I’m as confident as ever and KNOW that my mind and body are in a healthier space. 

I continued to maintain. I can’t tell you whether or not I’ve gained weight in the months that followed because I have yet to step on a scale.

Nope, I don’t drink my water as consistently as I should. I also don’t shame myself to success though.

Stop whipping yourself into shape or relying on intense trackers that stress you out and make you feel like a failure if you don’t hit a specific number or check a certain amount of boxes. It IS possible to purely trust your body and know that you're so stinkin' okay just as you are!
