Victor Alfonso Cabral, LSW, is an innovative and award-winning Afro-Latinx leader who is dedicated to fostering strategic relationships and inspiring substantial transformation in historically marginalized communities. Victor's strength lies in his empathetic, strategic, and forward-thinking approach, rooted in his personal and professional experiences. His multifaceted career spans policy development, community outreach, and providing community mental health services. He is the former Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs at Fluence Training, where he spearheaded strategic policy initiatives, developed an inclusive training curriculum, and served as a connector among key stakeholders in the field of psychedelic medicine.
Victor's passion for advocacy and reform has been recognized by numerous organizations. He was listed on the Students for Sensible Drug Policy’s "40 Under 40 Outstanding BIPOC Leaders in Drug Policy” and received the 2022 Emerging Social Work Leader Award from the National Association of Social Workers.
