SOCCON Resources

Every two years a dedicated team of teachers in a region organises the Social Sciences Conference (SOCCON) so that we can come together in person as a community of educators to share best practice and research from across the learning area. This section of the membership site keeps an archive of selected resources from past SOCCONs. If you have presented at a past SOCCON and wish to have your presentation made available to ASSEN members, please contact us through the website. We will only be able to upload SOCCON resources that we have permission to share.

Resources we currently have for download by members include:

  • Social Inquiry for Social Action: setting up an inquiry (M Perreau, 2019, Auckland)
