Community Catch-up Event Details:
We began Autism From The Inside with the goal of providing a safe and inclusive space for the autism community to connect, learn and grow. In order to facilitate inquiries from the community regarding autism, adult diagnoses, community support, activism, and life experiences on the spectrum, we have established Monthly Community Catch-up Events. This is your opportunity to talk about what matters to you in a neuro-affirming, safe, and inclusive setting with other adults who are neurodivergent.
Common discussion topics include:
- Talk to others about being diagnosed as an adult.
- Find out what we have in common with other autistics around the world. (Our membership is open internationally!)
- Talk to others about accommodating your needs, advocacy, burnout and sharing autism information with friends and family.
- Share what being autistic means to you.
NOTE: This event is INTERACTIVE. This means you will be invited to respond to discussion questions, share your experience, give your opinion, and, of course, ask questions of your own! (all participation is voluntary)
Cost: $30 AUD (free for members)
