This is a two-hour private strategy session focused around your goals and plan for the next 12 months. We'll define your goals, look at what assets and strengths you already have, assess your biggest hurdles and the areas where you feel overwhelmed or uncertain, and build a plan you can get excited about.

Then, you'll fill in a strategy document with your 12-month plan, and we'll meet for a short follow-up for feedback and next steps.

If you ever wanted an author mentor to help you build a strategy and slap a metaphorical ruler over your wrist when you slack off, but you're not quite ready for long-term commitment, this is lass for you.

How it works

We'll jump on a call where we'll talk through where you're at in your career, and how to level up in 2022.

Strategy session to create a plan. Your first session will be a strategy session – we'll build a plan for the next 12 months that you'll be excited about.
Plenty of individual attention. Calls are scheduled for two hours, but I don't have you on a clock – we go until we're done :)
Your strategy document. I give you a template to fill in to help you identify your strategy and stay on track.
Follow-up and action steps. During our 15-minute follow-up we'll go over your strategy document. I'll make suggestions and outline next steps.
Recorded calls to listen to at your leisure. After your call I'll send you a link to download the recording, so you can refer back to it later.

Who am I?

I’m Steff, a USA Today bestselling and multi-six figure author of paranormal romance. One of my favorite things in the whole world is being able to help other authors to achieve the success I know they're capable of. I'm the right mentor for you if:

You have some self-publishing experience. One-to-one mentoring is best suited for authors who've published a few books but want to level up.

You not looking for detailed help with ads. PPC advertising is not my specialty. I can give you some pointers and show you some great resources, but I'm all about making progress without a huge ad spend. If you're mainly looking for feedback on ads, my mentoring is not for you.

How do I get the most out of mentoring?

My number 1 tip to get the most out of mentoring is to come willing to share. This is a safe space for you to talk about your business - if you hide or you aren't honest, that limits how I can help you.

There's no judgement - we're all trying to do the best, and we've all made silly mistakes. It's how you deal with those mistakes that defines you as a person :) And I think you're awesome!

In every call I'll set at least one action step for you personally – obviously, doing these steps will help move you toward your goal.

If you have ideas, questions, or feedback, speak up! This isn't just about me preaching from the pulpit – we can all work together to lift each other up.

What happens after I sign up?

After you sign up you'll get a confirmation email. As soon as I can, I'll contact you and we'll choose a time slot for our call. Because we're likely in different time zones this might take a few days to figure out a time that works for both of us.

I'll give you a small questionnaire to fill in, about where you're at in your career and what you want out of mentoring. I'll also give you a little bit of homework – mainly, this will be crunching some numbers for your career over the past year.

We'll book our strategy call and I'll give you a zoom link. We'll have a blast! We'll talk through every aspect of your career and I'll get you to fill out a strategy document (I'll give this to you, and don't worry – it's pretty simple).

This call is booked out for two hours – sometimes we don't need all that time, sometimes we'll go longer.

After the call, I will send you a link to download the call, so you can watch/listen to it again whenever you like. It's then up to you to finish filling in your strategy document. If you want to, you can then send me your document and I'll do a short, 15-min follow-up call where we'll go through it together.

How do refunds work?

It's important to me that you're happy with your mentoring! I want this to completely transform your author career, as it has for my other clients.

However, because mentoring is a time-based service, I'm not able to offer refunds after mentoring is complete.

From the date you purchase mentoring, you'll have 7 days to pull out if you change your mind and receive a full refund.

Beyond that, you'll be able to pull out at any time, and you'll receive a pro-rata refund based on the amount of mentoring you've already had. This way, if your financial situation changes or you feel mentoring isn't working for you any longer, you'll be able to feel safe that you're not stuck paying for something you don't want/need.

All you need to do is contact me and I'll work with you to find a solution.

How do I know if mentoring is right for me?

Only you can answer that. There's very little risk because of my refund policy, so if you want to give it a go, I encourage you to do so. What have you got to lose?

If I don't feel we're a good fit, or if I don't think I'll be able to add much of value to your career, then I won't take you on as a client – instead, I'll give you some pointers on where to head next to improve your learning. :)
