This will be the treatment center that Lost Angels Jewelry will be working alongside. This will allow us to donate 50% of profits to pay for the entire LymeStop program with Dr. Smith for individual clients that are awaiting treatment. A patient’s name will be drawn every 10 pendants that are sold, and that blessed patient will receive all of their treatments and supplements for free.
Both the inspiration for the design of this pendant, and the idea to donate half of our profits to Lyme disease treatments for others, is due to the fact that the owner of Lost Angels Jewelry Design, Lee Allen, was a Lyme disease patient of Dr. Smith, did the LymeStop program, and was cured. His passion is to bring awareness to this horrible disease, and to help others that are suffering with Lyme disease by helping to directly pay for as many people as possible to do the LymeStop treatment.
Below is a brief testimonial of Lee’s experience with Lyme disease and with Dr. Smith, and will help you better understand why we chose this hands-on approach to donating profits to directly impact those in need:
My name is Lee Allen, and I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Tony Smith through an acquaintance of my life partner, as she and some of her family members had received treatment by Dr. Smith, experienced amazing results, and no longer suffered from Lyme disease and its co-infections. I received my first treatment on December 7, 2020.
Before starting the LymeStop treatment at Dynamic Health, I had experienced chronic neurological Lyme disease symptoms for almost 7 years. As most people do with Lyme disease, I was sent for scan after scan, and test after test to find out what was wrong with me, from Parkinson’s and MS tests to all sorts of cancer tests and scans - you name it, they most likely tested me for it. Years later, I finally went to a naturopath and she suggested that I may have Lyme disease and asked if I had been tested for it. I had not, so she sent my blood work to a very well respected lab in Germany called Armin Labs. On September 12, 2017 is when I officially found out that I had chronic Lyme disease with other co-infections and parasites, etc.
Needless to say, I was excited to find out what was physically wrong with me, and why I was feeling the way I was feeling. Then it was explained to me, that most people with chronic Lyme disease will never be cured and it is something that I may have to deal with for the rest of my life, which instantly took the wind out of my sails. The naturopath I was working with said she had cured a few people by using high dosage antibiotics, anti-parasite drugs, combined with strong herbal tinctures. Being uneducated on the subject, I trusted her to try to help cure me with traditional methods. I lasted about 8 months on her cocktail, but had to stop once I started puking blood every morning, and feeling worse than I had ever felt since the first symptoms of Lyme disease. She tried to convince me that I needed to stay on the drugs for another 4 to 6 months. I immediately told her she was no longer my doctor.
Over the next couple of years I tried all sorts of treatments that gave me temporary relief, but never got close to curing me. Little did I know that such a small little creature could so drastically change my life, that I was now forced to doing a 4 hour trip from Vancouver to Kelowna once a week for a treatment called 10 pass ozone. Almost half a liter of blood was extracted from the body, then infused with pure ozone gas, and then put back into the body. This was done a total of 10 times in the span of approximately 1.5 hours or so. I was doing this once a week to help keep myself functioning well enough to be able to work part time to keep my business afloat. As time consuming and expensive as these treatments were to get done, they were my saving grace during such a tumultuous period in my life. They helped me have some “good days” during every week, that I would be able to continue to design and create beautiful pieces of custom jewelry for my clients. Unless you have someone close to you that has chronic Lyme disease, you have no idea how debilitating it is on the “bad days”. Challenging is an understatement, and I would not wish this on my own worst enemy.
Chronic Lyme Disease is comprised of a main bacteria called, borrelia burgdorferi, that is a spirochete class of bacteria. Alongside this bacteria, the tick will have infected most victims with other types of bacteria, parasites and viruses. These are what are referred to as co-infections, and this creates the perfect storm inside the body to slowly degrade the host and eventually lead to a very miserable life, and in some cases death.
Lyme disease presents itself differently for each person as co-infections play a big part in this, but there are definitely common symptoms shared by all those afflicted. The symptoms I had to endure during my illness with Lyme disease were plenty, but a majority of them were neurological in nature. Shakes and twitches, loss of motor skills, degraded eyesight, extreme anxiety, manic depression, borderline suicidal, loss of libido, memory loss, night sweats, day sweats, arthritic joint pain, major muscle weakness, numbness in arms, pins and needles in my extremities, super achy soles of my feet, chronic fatigue, digestion issues, and the list goes on.
When I finally heard about Dr. Smith, I contacted Dynamic Health and was put on their months long waiting list. Bittersweet for me, the pandemic the world was dealing with, brought with it unfortunate challenges for people to travel. This led to a phone call early October, 2020, surprising me with much earlier treatment dates than anticipated. Early December was when I was going to receive treatment, and I could not have been more relieved and excited!
Dr. Smith was very kind and down to earth, and explained everything and genuinely cared about me and my well being. His treatments are gentle and non-invasive and are nothing short of miraculous! I went for my final treatment and check-up 4 months later. During those 4 months I was detoxing heavily and was tired and dealt with the usual roller coaster of symptoms all of us Lyme disease patients have experienced. I stuck to the diet, supplement protocol, focused on my health, and kept my stress down. I started to slowly have improvement, and I started to go days without symptoms, and then turned into a week or 2 without symptoms, and then a month or 2 without symptoms, and then all of a sudden I no longer had symptoms. It took about 18 months or so until I knew and felt that my body no longer had Lyme disease. It has been exactly 2 years since the anniversary of my first treatment, and my body is still healing from the damage the Lyme has done. But I am almost back to what I was pre-Lyme, and am living a life that I never dreamed I would ever live again. I run and hike with my dogs almost every day, I surf and swim again, I am working as many hours as I need to work for my business, and I have a new found respect for this life and will never take it for granted.
I can honestly say that Dr. Smith and his team are true angels that give Lyme disease sufferers, like I was, a new lease on life! I will be forever grateful to all of them for the rest of my life. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
The inspiration for the design of this pendant was also conceived during a life changing retreat where I worked with plant medicine in the mountains of Peru to help my body, mind and spirit heal from the trauma and damage from the Lyme disease. This pendant is not only a symbol and testament of perseverance and will to survive such a tough illness, it also serves as a spiritual pendant of pure light, love, protection and healing energy to all those who are wearing it!
My deepest gratitude to everyone who purchases this pendant, it is because of YOU, that we will be able to educate people about Lyme disease and help to heal as many people as possible in this world afflicted with Lyme!
