FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
SEX IS NOT A PART OF BODY WORK SESSIONS
While sexual energy is a powerful aspect of tantra, it is not the sole focus. Tantra is about a holistic approach to life, spiritual growth, and deep connection with oneself and others. Neo-tantra may place more emphasis on sexual energy, but even this is in the context of deeper self-awareness and healing.
Tantra is as much an individual practice as it is a relational one. It starts with self-awareness, self-love, and connecting to your own energy. The practices can be deeply transformative whether you are single, in a relationship, or exploring your own inner world.
Though traditional tantra can have complex rituals, neo-tantra offers simple, practical exercises for self-awareness, healing, and connection. It can be as straightforward as conscious breathing, using your voice and making sound, mindful movement, or focusing on your heart center during meditation.
Tantra offers a unique approach to emotional healing by encouraging you to confront, accept, and release suppressed emotions. Rather than pushing negative emotions away or denying their existence, tantra teaches you to move toward them with compassionate awareness. This acceptance allows you to transform emotional pain into a source of strength and wisdom.
