Hi, I'm Darren
Like many, my journey into the profession of well-being began with a curiosity about the health sciences through athletics, and a strong commitment to better myself through life circumstances.
As a teen, I had several debilitating sports injuries that led to me exploring alternative healing methodologies like acupuncture and massage, and my brother's physical disability gave me early insights into the power of acting from the Heart, not the Ego. My mother taught me how to play baseball, and my father was an active martial artist. We spent most days at the baseball field, or the dojo.
In 2011, after competing for the school baseball team and completing my degree in Interpersonal & Organizational Communication at Pepperdine University, I found myself working as a movement coach for top athletes, stars and the like in a dynamic environment with other rock star therapists and coaches. I went on to complete massage school with a focus on cranial-sacral bodywork and sports massage. I then completed several multi-year long mentorships with several Qigong and meditation master instructors. Needless to say, the experience I gained in the first 25 years of my life propelled further my passion for helping individuals to champion everyday obstacles and help achieve a healthy and vibrant life.
A decade later, and prior to 2020, you'd find me bouncing around Los Angeles serving individual clients at their homes and on retreats, and actively part of company wellness endeavors such as on-sites, off-sites, activations & speaking engagements in several countries such as Thailand, Mexico, France, and the UK.
Today, and post 2020, I live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, traveling for off-sites, retreats and activations, seeing personal clients virtually, teaching my weekly online vitality classes, and working as the COO at corporate well-being consulting and content development company, Fairfax Training Club.

He has helped hundreds of people to better their lives by applying his decades' worth of experience and expertise in exercise physiology, meditation and mindfulness, somatic therapy, and interpersonal communication.
