Surviving & Thriving After A Lesbian Breakup

(And Conscious Uncoupling, Even By Yourself)

Saturday, May 8, 12:00-1:30 pm PST

With Conscious Girlfriend Academy Director Ruth Schwartz

and special guest April Hirschman, author of

Best Breakup Ever: Bouncing Back from a Breakup with Humor and Dignity

(learn more about April at www.aprilhirschman.com)

Lesbian breakups have a way of hurting us in places we didn't even know we had. The hurt, anger and sense of loss can be shattering -- even if you were the one who ended it, and/or even if you recognize that the relationship needed to end. And when it was the other person's choice, it's even harder.

Whether your breakup was yesterday or years ago, you may not have completed your healing process, and information specifically about lesbian breakups is hard to find. This class will give you a survival kit!. Yes, you can get through this. You can get your life and joy back, and thrive. And you can make sense of what happened, and make peace with it, even if you have to go through that learning on your own. Conscious Uncoupling is a gift you give yourself, regardless of whether or not the other person participates. You can also get ready to love again, if you wish, and prepare to do it with a wise and resilient heart.

In this class, we'll explore:

  • Why it hurts so damn much (no, it's not just you) and what actually helps.
  • The three stages of breakup, and what you need to do -- and avoid -- in each stage.
  • The right and wrong kinds of support to get.
  • Self-talk and self-care during and after a breakup.
  • The most important healing processes most of us overlook.
  • Mining the gold of this painful time to create a new, more empowered life for yourself.

Lesbians and Queer Women Want and Deserve

Happy, Healthy Love. And You Can Have It.

The Conscious Girlfriend Academy is Here to Help!

Why Join The Academy?

Because Your Heart is Worth It.

Lesbians and queer women are courageous and powerful,

and relationships between women

can be the very best relationships on the planet.

We deserve happy, healthy love --

and we can have it!

But because two women can bond so deeply and quickly,

and because we often lack the know-how to date

in smart-for-our-heart ways,

our relationships can also go bad fast --

if you don't choose a partner wisely,

or don't have the skill, compassion and self-awareness

to navigate conflicts when they arise.

The Conscious Girlfriend Academy exists to support

women who value growth, and are willing to take action

to learn how to be the right partner, as well as find her.

If that sounds like you, we'll see you in class!

XOXOXO
