Just like most things, there are PROS and CONS with each. While the included wax candles provide significantly light, natural flickering and a natural feel.

The LED lights are very natural looking and provide many more hours of light with an expected 100 hours of battery life. They are also safer for children, no fire hazard and reusable.

Each lantern is 6" x 6" at the base and stands 9" tall. Each lantern is made with rice paper and solid wood base, and sides to make them Eco-friendly and safe to be used outdoors.

Our lanterns come pre-packaged with white rice paper, so color variations are not currently available.

You can write or draw as desired on the lanterns prior to use with a sharpie pen or marker to make it your own or share that special message.

Generic options are often very flimsy, poorly constructed, easily torn & many parts not being bio-degradable; potentially harming the environment.

While nothing is fire proof, our lantern are made from a rice paper and have a fire retardant ensuring you have a safe and beautiful glow for your event.
