I am so glad I joined the Intensive! For too long I just postponed working on my Spanish, but when I joined the Summer Intensive, I got the inspiration back.
I have learned incredibly many words in a short time, and I was able to use many of them when we got a visit from a Spanish couple during Summer, who did not speak English. For the first time I actually communicated with Spanish people in Spanish. That was fun!
Getting daily assignments like this is an effective way of learning the language. The tasks are short, but intensive, and it didn't take long before I noticed it was easier to remember sentence structure and new words. It is something I look forward to doing, and if I don't get time one day, I do more activities the next day. I look forward to the rest!

What our online course and app do is let you listen to a lot of spoken French or Spanish or whatever language your are learning (available in 50+ languages), while you see the words on the screen, and get them translated to English so you can understand them.
Grammar
When you wish to learn some more about grammar-rules, there are short videos explaining the most important aspects of the grammar that you need to know. But most of the time you use the language rather than studying facts about it.
GAMES
In addition to reading and listening, our Online course has fun games and exercises where you have to use the language actively, being ‘forced’ to think in French. Each activity takes just 5 minutes, a convenient micro-session.
Apps
If you go outside your home (remember to keep 1-2 meter distance to other people to stay safe!), then you can use the language app on your smartphone (iPhone or Android).

How Much Time Do You Need Daily for This 50 day Intensive
Less than you think! If you have 30 to 60 minutes available for language learning daily, you should for most languages see very fast progress with your language and be able to learn your daily dose of vocabulary (double the daily study time if you're learning a difficult language like e.g. Chinese, Japanese or Arabic).
You could even split that hour into several short 5-10 minute micro-sessions throughout the day. With our fun and quick infusion activities you can always squeeze in some fun learning throughout the day in-between your home-office work and family activities.

Fun interactive games like Unscramble, Game Show, and Four Square repeat the material over and over while you're having fun.

An app for iPhone and Android is included in the course and allows you to continue the language learning at any time without sitting in front of your computer.
Download MP3 files
You can even download some MP3-files to your phone and listen without watching, like when cleaning the house or driving a car. Utilize dead time that is otherwise lost.
Certificate
When you finish each unit in the course, you can download a PDF course certificate that documents your progress with the language.
