Saline Tattoo Removal
What is Saline Removal & how is it done?
Saline removal is a method of tattoo removal for the face and body. It is performed by using a special formulated Saline solution that is applied to the skin using a needle machine. As we go over the old tattoo, the solution bonds to the pigment and helps to push it out of the skin.
How long do results last?
Our specialized Saline solution is an all-natural method of removing previous tattoo pigment. Results can be permanent, but more than 1 session may be required based on how faded you want your results.
How does Saline Removal improve previous tattoo pigment?
As the skin heals naturally, the saline removal solution will create a scab over the application area that falls off on its own. During the healing process, the unwanted pigment attaches to the scab. The pigment may appear darker during the healing process, and this is normal and expected. The new skin is revealed after the scab falls off.
Is it painful & is there down time?
Pain depends on your tolerance, but most clients report that it is painless. The area may look irritated and darker during the healing process, but most clients resume work on the same day or the next day.
How long does a session take and how many are needed?
A session can take up to 1 hour, but it all depends on the size of the treatment area. You will notice significant improvement after you are done healing from the first session. Depending on how your skin heals and how faded you wish the pigment to be, it can require additional sessions. We can determine whether or not you will require additional sessions after 6 weeks of the initial session.
