Thursday: Begin your transformative journey with a sumptuous dinner, Welcome Circle + Dance.
Friday: Special evening ritual

Midday offers choices: rejuvenate with a serene hike, bask in the soothing warmth of a hot tub, indulge in insightful conversations over lunch, walk in the woods, or simply find a quiet corner to reflect and grow.
Our communal space beckons those eager to share skills or those in search of pure relaxation.

Our retreat ensures every aspect of your stay is nourished, including your palate. We provide three dinners and three breakfasts to keep you dancing in joy.

Get fancy in your own Queen Room: $1380
Sharing bed in Queen Room: $930
*Only 2 people may share a room; both people must pay for attending the Retreat. One person will pay for Room + Retreat, the other will pay for Retreat Only, and you will divide room costs among yourselves.

If you've made plans to share a Queen with someone, one of you must do the Room + Retreat option. The other roomie will purchase the Retreat Only option.
Due to the requirements of advanced booking for the retreat location and catering, there are no refunds.
This retreat was the most healing group experience I’ve ever had. The classes were relevant and concise with knowledgeable teachers that I trusted. All the women participating seemed to come with open minds and by the end of the weekend, open hearts. I felt fully safe to share myself without fear of judgment. It was a truly magical weekend.

It's actually hard to explain because I feel like it sounds corny but it was so real! A bunch of saucy burlesque dancers of varied experience, ages and backgrounds getting real and sharing a healing and growth experience in the woods! Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have prior dance experience to attend the retreat?
Nope! Our retreat is designed for individuals at all levels of dance proficiency, including beginners. We strive to create an environment where everyone can explore and enjoy movement.
JourneyDance is guided free-form movement where you decide how much you do. You're welcome to use props for support.
For the Burlesque routines, attendees will be divided into three groups with a High Priestess leader. You'll receive an instructional video with your routine at least 4 weeks before the retreat, and will have an onsite rehearsal with your High Priestess.
The routines are simple, so you can focus on feeling good and shining. Costume pieces will be items you're likely to have around your house, and may include items The Temple has to share like gloves and boas.
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Yes, we can accommodate dietary restrictions with prior notice. Due to experience, we always plan to have gluten and dairy-free options, vegan and meat options. We will send you a form to share your dietary needs following registration. As long as you complete the form by the requested deadline, we will ensure your requirements are met.
Each house and the retreat space have full-sized refrigerators and kitchens, so you may also bring specific foods for yourself.
We include three dinners, and three breakfasts in the retreat. To keep costs lower, we ask that everyone clean up after themselves and contribute to cleaning up after a meal. We will put you into clean up pods following registration.
Lunches are your time to explore local offerings, head into the woods or claim quiet personal space.
Where exactly am I staying?
We book homes on a sweet quiet street in Rhododendron, OR, a wooded area about 1 hour drive from Portland, OR, in the Mt. Hood Foothills. One of the homes has a separate space with a large second-floor room where some group meetings and dances will occur, and a small backyard meadow for dancing and circling under the stars.
Please note, the venue includes stairs and outdoor paths that may not be accessible for everyone. One of the houses has a ground floor bunkroom, but is not wheelchair accessible.
The main dance room is located on the second floor, up a flight of stairs.
Carpooling will be needed due to limited parking. We will help you find a carpool group following registration.
The homes have easy access to the ZigZag Mountain trail into Mt. Hood National Forest.
What are the COVID-19 precautions?
All attendees must take a test a COVID test and send us the results within 24-hours before arriving on site. If you are flying in, we ask that you also test before flying.
What your substance policy?
We follow local laws about substances, and require no smoking on anything on the properties due to rental policies and to protect the health of other participants.
Additionally please know that this is loving and fun, but deep work. Opening yourself to feeling more and playing with new ways of expressing is vulnerable and powerful so it's important to stay grounded and clear in yourself.
We ask that you refrain from any substances that could affect your ability to ground and experience the fullness of our dances and circles from the time you arrive until we close our Sacred Circle Saturday afternoon.
Following that, adult beverages are OK but we remind you to be very careful with your consumption -- even a glass of wine hits harder when you've really opened yourself up like this.
