How do we move an issue from concern to inclusion in a BC Budget? How can we best use our skills, connections and influence in our communities, regionally and provincially to help address service gaps and better respond to needs?
Two retired MLAs will share some of their experience in getting things done, from how to lobby MLA's to how the government's budget is built - and how that might be influenced.

- Colin Gabelmann, a Board Voice Board Member and representative of the John Howard Society of North Island, is a retired MLA and former Attorney General.
- Shane Simpson, a recently retired MLA and former Minister of Social Development and Poverty Reduction.
