Meet our sweet Georgia Peach, Sophie! 

Sophie and several other dogs were removed from a bad situation in GA, and welcomed into Lil Rascals with open arms. Sophie is 35 pounds of love with no aggression at all. She loves men and woman equally, and also loves other dogs! Sophie is so fast when she runs, and loves to zoom all over her fosters yard, playing with anything she can run with.

If you have a kiddie pool, you'll be Sophie's best friend! Her foster has a dog pool, and  Sophie can't get enough playtime in the water. Run, run, run, then splash all around. She lays in it, spins in it, and puts her entire head under. We bet you could cancel your cable subscription and just watch this goofy girl play in the pool all whole summer!

Sophie had a rough start and only wants to love and be loved. Since her "owner" didn't give her any attention or training, she is working on her manners, including learning to walk better on a leash. Sophie is a medium-sized dog, but until she is done with training, she may be too jumpy for small children.

If you want a running buddy, a dog to train on agility, or a best friend to take with you on beach adventures, Sophie is your girl! She is very active and energetic, but once she gets enough activity for the day, she will settle down with you to enjoy some snuggles.
