How to sell Wholesale on Amazon in 2021.

Each product or brand has a supply chain. 

  • Supplier Factory or Manufacturer -Brand -  Distributor - Sales Agencies- Wholesaler - Retailer - 

  • Brand - The company who owns the product design, ideas, brand assets, intellectual property, website, Rights etc. like Apple.

  • Distributors are companies who have the right to sell that brand in a particular region or country. 

  • Wholesaler has a direct deal with the brand at set discounted prices. 

  • Sales agencies can deal directly with the distributor. 

  • Retailers can go to Wholesaler or distributor. 

  • Wholesaler works closely with Retailers, to bring the best deals for them. 

  • Distributor works closely with Brand..to protect their interests and reach the brand goals..

  • ALWAYS CHECK YOU ARE ABLE TO SELL THE PRODUCT FIRST BEFORE YOU ORDER FROM WHOLESALE VIA ADD A PRODUCT FEATURE IN YOUR SELLER ACCOUNT.

  • Try to get hold of product feed from the wholesaler as a csv file and upload in source mogul. Stax provide that. You can download from online account. 

  • Use Jungle Scout to know the closest estimate possible on sales on that product. 

  • Only order min order qty. 

  • Use source mogul to go through the wholesale database as it will match it up against amazon’s catalogue and you will be able to find deals quicker instead of manually checking product 1 by 1. 

  • Watch your back with Amazon.. If Amazon buyers see a product or brand is popping in their stats.. They will try to source it directly.. And will compete ad win the buy box. 

  • Brands can open their own seller accounts too.. 

  • If you try to pitch as being a marketing agency who can start and promote the brand on Amazon, manage PPC and ADD VALUE as service.. It's not wholesale model!! It's like being a sales agency who will have couple of Amazon brands to grow and nurture on Amazon platform.. That’s a different ball game!

  • Amazon can approach brands to become a Vendor.. And they offer brands attractive terms to rope them in. 

  • Do not end up as middle man that can be cast aside as and when it serves brands interest.
