Submit a Project
Do you have an idea for a hands-on service project we can work on at a Family Service Night?
Submit that project to be voted on by our monthly donation members!
PROJECTS TO SUBMIT
Do you have a project that we can work on at our Family Service Nights? We would love to hear about it and put it forward to our members to vote on!
Hopefully, you have been to one of our events before, so you have an idea of the types of projects that work well at a Family Service Night. Just in case you need a bit of help, remember that the projects that will work need to be hands-on, can be done in a large group setting, and have various stages that are appealing to various age groups.
We also ask that if you submit a project that you are willing to help with the pre-prep and management of the project.
Hands-on
Your project needs to be a hands-on project that can be worked on as people sit down at a fixed location and work on side-by-side.
Group Friendly
Your project needs to be one that can be completed in a large group setting, since we typically have 100+ people that attend each event.
Appeals to all ages
Since we have children and adults attend our events, your project needs to be targeted to volunteers of different age ranges.
WHO CAN SUBMIT A PROJECT?
Any organizations (non-profit or other) or individuals with ideas for hands-on service projects are welcome to submit a project.
Organizations
Organizations such as Rotary clubs, non-profit organizations (and even for-profit organizations) may submit a project.
Individuals
Individuals with a service project idea that would work at a Family Service Night are encouraged to submit their project.
Youth
We love it when youth look at things in the world that could be better and find a way to take action! Youth may submit a project idea.
