So many of us have followed the steps we’re “supposed” to follow, only to discover that they don’t necessarily lead to the happiness and fulfillment we’re searching for.

I was there, too.
I had the degrees and the career. I was doing everything I was “supposed” to be doing. I was helping people. And while I was great at my job, I felt like something was missing.
I realized just checking off the boxes was not leading me to a life of happiness and fulfillment. There were other holes in my life and I realized they needed to be filled before I could learn to be excited to show up for myself every day.
So what happened next? I had to do the work. I made different choices and started prioritizing myself. I uncovered my unique values and made sure that how I was spending my time and energy started aligning with those values.
I loved adventure, so I started traveling more.
I'm an extrovert, so I assessed which friends filled up my cup and started spending more time with them.
I liked to move, so I danced every opportunity I could get.
My passion is helping others, so I founded Forward in Heels.
I know that it is difficult to put yourself first, but it is really important. And I want to be the one to help you do just that!
Here is what we cover in our 12 weeks together:
Hi! I'm Jenny. You're trusting me with...well...your life, so I figured it would be best if we got to know one another better. I'll start by walking you through my career story and how and why I started Forward in Heels!
No two people are exactly alike, and the same goes for our values. Two people might value similar things but have them show up completely differently in their daily lives. Uncovering your unique values is the first step in our program. You'll walk away feeling confident in what is most important to you in life.
We'll talk about what your life looks like now, what the costs and benefits are of staying where you are now, and what you would want to keep from your current situation that does reflect your core values before making any changes. You will finish with a visual representation of what your future dream life could look like.
Every large company, organization, or entity has a mission statement, so why shouldn't you? After all, you're the CEO of You and nothing you do will ever be as important as creating this vision for yourself. In this module we will create your own personal mission statement to refer back to whenever you need to recenter!
We can have it all! Or can we? We come to terms with the fact that having it all, every second of every day, at all times of your life, is impossible. However, that doesn't mean that we can't live a life of fulfillment, purpose, and joy. Balance is key here, and we give you what tools you need to achieve balance when you start to feel out of whack.
We ALL self sabotage at some points in our lives, some of us more than others. We'll dig into how you may be holding yourself back from living true to your core values, and more importantly, how to stop doing that!
In this module, you'll learn from expert social scientists how to overcome harmful inner narratives through a series of evidence-based tactics and strategies for every situation and every unique person.
You've heard about goal setting, but do you know how to set the right goals for you? The SMART goal-setting framework will help us do exactly that so that we can crush it every time.
It's time to self-reflect! We will lead you through an exercise on how and what you want to communicate with your future self in order to design this dream life into a reality.
No one likes to fail, but it's a part of life! The key is to manage how we respond to failure. We'll reflect on a time you experienced failure, what you can learn from it, and what you can do differently next time to come out on top.
Self-care is often looked at as indulgent, yet it is really just taking care of the body and mind that you've been given in this life so that you can live how YOU want to live. In this module, we share a number of scientifically supported self-care strategies that you can practice daily to rebel against the burnout of hustle culture.
Where are all of my people-pleasers and over-achievers?! 🖐 This module is one you'll want to replay over and over again. We talk through the four different ways you can set boundaries for yourself by inviting people in to meet you where you need them to, instead of feeling like you're shutting them out when you ask for what you want.
We all go through stress as a completely normal part of being human. The key is to learn how to manage this stress without getting to the point of burnout, because your life is long and you deserve to enjoy it while also engaging in meaningful and productive work.
Let's put all of our hard work into action with a BIG LIFE PLAN! This is where all of the modules you've completed come together for the next phase of your amazing journey. We create your framework, anchored in your core values, for you to live happily and confidently!
