The Earth's seasons are always changing and if we are able to capture the right moment, we can get the best results by knowing what to do. 

One method is to re-calibrate your goals (work, health, relationship, financial, etc) during the start of each season as it will bring along fresh perspective with the emerging dominant energy (depending on the season, Spring - Wood 🌱, Summer - Fire 🌞, Autumn - Metal  🍂 and Winter - Water ❄️. 

Start of Spring 立春 - Have good expectations and plans for the year as it is a season of growth and progress. 

Start of Summer 立夏 - Take concrete action steps to continue with the momentum. The strong fiery energy can be used to propel you forward.

Start of Autumn 立秋 - Review the first half of the year and prioritise your time and resources to focus on the important areas to achieve. 

Start of Winter 立冬 -  Replenish your energy and take care of your health. Beware of burning out.

As the guide above applies to everyone, there is a particular date every year that your personal luck will "update" for the coming year. It is something like the new OS that your devices need to update every year. By updating device OS, we want to improve stability, reduce malware and hacking attacks, etc.

The same applies to your personal luck change cycle. On that important day of the year, we need to ensure that our energy is positive and cleanse away all the accumulated negative energy over the past year. The significance of this is even more important the seasonal change, New Year, Period 8 to 9 or your own birthday.

This is the reason why I have been highlighting the luck change date for my clients to take note of during the Bazi Luck Analysis session.
