So What’s It All About?
There comes a time in most people’s lives where they wake-up one day and say “there’s got to be more to life than this!”. The fun has gone, you don’t really recognise the person that you are anymore and generally you feel a bit meh! You see we live in a world that is so fast, so intense and so unforgiving, that we can easily loose touch with who we are and what we want for ourselves. When we think back to our younger self and the idealistic hopes and dreams we had for our future, we can hardly believe how we’ve ended up where we are! But it’s these feelings of discomfort and frustration that are ultimately wonderful things, because they cause us to take action. Rather than trying to escape those feelings, what would it look like if you stepped in to them even more? Really explore where the true disharmony in you lies. What lead to them being there in the first place? What could you gently change in your life to upgrade those feeling? What does your intuitive self want for you?
These are just a few questions we can look at together in a safe way. Through using a combination of modalities, I can help you reconnect with your true self again (or for many, for the first time) and workout what you really want your life to look like and how to get there. When doing this work, I approach it very much in a mind, body and soul (MBS) way – meaning what is in the mind (ie your thoughts and beliefs), is in the body (ie if your beliefs aren’t serving you, they often lead to physical ailments), and ultimately it is your soul (or inner wisdom) that needs to be heard and expressed for true inner peace and contentment.
We’d start off with a free 15-30 min discovery call where we chat about where you’re at and, if you know, where you’d like to be. It may simply be, “I don’t want to feel like s*%t anymore!”. We then discuss ways in which I can help you and see if I’m a good fit for you and vice-versa. If I feel you’d be better suited to a different coach, I will tell you in that session, as sometimes what we think we need isn’t always what we actually need. I have a wide network/tribe of amazing experts that can help facilitate your journey if I’m not the right person for you, so have no fear, I’ll still help you one way or another.
If we both feel working together is the right option, we’ll then have an initial 4 sessions together. For some, 4 sessions may be all you need. For others who want to go deeper, we have the option of adding another 4, 8 or 10 sessions. We will discuss this and make a plan that works best for you.
I work with a wide variety of people, so there’s no right or wrong here. The general underlying theme between them all, is that they feel lost and want to rediscover themselves and, importantly, are ready and willing to change.
I most commonly work with women, although not exclusively. Many women I see after having had a baby or around the time of peri-menopause (ie throughout your 40/50s) as these are huge times of transition in a woman’s life, and often where your identity feels truly lost. I also help people navigate and heal from relationship difficulties and break-ups/divorce. Rediscovering who you are outside of a relationship and how you want to authentically show up in a relationship, is incredibly powerful, and rewarding for all involved. I hold a very gentle, safe space for you to explore this and find your authentic self.
The 3 areas I mentioned above are ones I’ve personally lived through. I know how challenging, painful and confusing they can all be and I also know how incredible you can feel when you emerge from the other side as the person you know you have the potential to be. You can feel truly comfortable and at ease in your own skin, living your life how you really want to. So if you’re willing to take that journey, and open to change, I’ll help you get to where you want to be.
If this is you, I hear you! I’m a single mum of 2 kids and run 2 businesses – I hear you really loudly and really clearly, and this was 100% me all of the time, and honestly, occasionally still is! When I get too wrapped up in life, don’t put my needs first and honour my boundaries, my life can get a bit messy! You see I’m not perfect (even though for most my life I tried to be…that was exhausting and unachievable!) and although I don’t get it right all the time, I can now, 9 times out of 10, catch myself and use the many tools I’ve learnt over the years to get me back on track. When I can’t, I turn to my tribe and they help me, because it’s good to ask for help – we were never meant to do this thing called life alone!
We all know the very well used phrase of “put your own oxygen mask on first” (literally the tag line of every coach out there!!) and the reason it’s used so prolifically, is because it’s true! This coaching is true oxygen mask time! Think of all the people you help in your life…kids, partner, co-workers – how exactly are you going to be able to keep helping them if you feel thoroughly depleted and lost? That said, no pressure is put on you in these sessions. We will look at what’s going on in your life and find a way to integrate this work gently and not make it feel like “just another thing I have to do!” (I hear you there too!!).
