Sales Page Structure for Boosting Your Conversions

Have you ever sat down to create a sales page or landing page, and it went something like this: 

 

** You opened up your website or page builder, started a new page

** You weren't sure what to write so you started fiddling with the design and adding placeholder content

** You wrote a bit of content that seemed like the right thing to say

** You got stuck with the writing again so you went back to fiddling with the design

** You left the page builder and looked for some photos cuz..you gotta have some of those on there too right?

** You realized WAYYY too much time has gone by, you save your draft and walk away feeling like you got nothing done

 

I've been there. I think it's safe to assume everyone has ;) 

 

Here's the thing: Whether you're creating a sales page, writing social content, or outlining a process in your business, it's best to start OUTSIDE the tool that it will eventually go into. 

 

Avert your eyes, and walk by your page builder, social media scheduler, everything...

 

And walk straight to your Google Doc, open up a doc, and start mapping things out in there.

[1] Keeps you focused on strategically writing your content, rather than being distracted by the bells and whistles of your tools

 

[2] Makes the setup process in your page builder simpler and QUICKER (not to mention that it makes it possible for you to easily delegate that part of the process entirely!)
