CONTENT WITHOUT INTENT
We have all been there, we sit looking at our phone, knowing we need to post something but not knowing WHAT we want the audience to do, or feel, or learn when they see it. We grab any old image from our phone, rush a caption, don't think about hashtags, and completely forget a Call To Action.
What happens? Well, nothing... you haven’t posted with intent. The audience don't react, because... well, why would they? There is nothing to react to!
CONTENT WITH INTENT
You have a picture of a balayage to post. Your intention is to educate your clients about using the correct products to keep their hair between appointments. You write a caption educating the client about how protein masks rebuild the hair and moisture masks hydrate. Your call to action is to
visit your website/insta shop/salon to get the mask you recommend.
What happens? Your client has learned something from you which establishes you as the expert. You have offered a solution and told them how to get the solution from you!
STRATEGY
What is your goal for your content this week? Think about your strategy by asking yourself what it is you have to sell this week?
How will you achieve it?
Will you go live? Do tutorial Reels? Do education carousel posts?
What content does my audience seem to like the most?
Think about what content types your audience responds to the most, base this on your Instagram audit.
What is my Call To Action?
How will I encourage the audience to react?
