Our Four-Step Route to Cybersecurity
Our four-step process to cybersecurity combines unique teaching methods with a continually evolving curriculum to ensure you receive the highest quality training. This process guarantees that you finish the bootcamp equipped with the competitive skill set you need to enter the cybersecurity market as a valuable asset.
Our Four-Step Route to Cybersecurity
PHASE - I
Consultation and Enrollment (2 weeks)
To assess your aptitude as a prospective student and determine if this bootcamp is a good match for you, students are required to fill out the application questionnaire and Application Form.
Accepted students will begin the enrollment process and will be assisted in setting up their virtual environment used in the bootcamp. Students work 1 on 1 with a career counsellor to establish learning routine and define goals and expectations.
PHASE - II
Hands on Learning (10 weeks)
Students are immersed in 10 weeks of hands-on learning through a combination of:
• 240 minutes of virtual lectures per week (weekday and weekend classes)
• 12 virtual labs/exercises
• Virtual group security assessments
• 10 hours of offline study per week
• Group study
PHASE - III
Internship (6 weeks)
In the internship phase, student groups are assigned to an unpaid internship with a 3rd party company, where they test their new skills in a scenario-based setting. Students will work together to conduct a full Cybersecurity Assessment for the company and present the detailed Security Assessment Report in a formal setting.
PHASE - IV
Job Placement Support & Preparation (2 weeks)
Our 2-week career support program includes workshops that supports students to build professional resumes, training for interviews, provide mock interviews and create an outstanding online portfolio. The team also connects you with hiring partners to help you secure your first cyber job.

No background in the field is necessary, but you should be self-driven and committed to success. Students are expected to fill out and submit an application form and questionnaire.

Class Structure
Classes are structured around evenings on weekdays and weekends. This bootcamp is designed for prospective and current working professionals.
The curriculum provides comprehensive training in the fundamentals and essentials of cybersecurity through virtual lectures and participation in hands on virtual hacking via labs, individual and group exercises.
18 Weeks of lectures
Cyber labs
Students will learn to identify and exploit vulnerabilities on web servers and web applications and recommend secure information security measures that protect against a variety of threats through immersive cyber labs, tabletop exercises and real-world simulations. This virtual hands-on environment provides students with the knowledge, training and experience that makes you a valuable asset in the field of cybersecurity.
Group Exercises and Project
At the start of the bootcamp, students will be put in groups of 3 to instill a sense of collaboration and team building skills. Paired students will engage in group exercises and group Security Assessment Projects from start to finish of the bootcamp.

All you need for the 16-week bootcamp is
We will provide all software applications that are required throughout the course. Other than your own device and general stationery items there is nothing else you will need to bring.
In order to complete the projects throughout the course, students will need to spend time outside of class hours studying, practicing and working on assessments. The amount of time and effort you can put in will reflect what you get out of the course. It is suggested that students in the bootcamp would do at least 10 hours per week self-study. The more you put in, the more you will get out of it.

The first step involves a 10-15 minute questionnaire to learn about your prior educational and work experience.
Based on your responses, we might ask for additional information e.g. a brief phone interview, or a quick technical and security challenge just to make sure the Penetration Testing Bootcamp is a good fit for you.
Courses begin on a rolling basis.
Becoming a Cyber Security Specialist takes time and effort. We’ve built a curriculum to teach you what you should know to land a job. The course length is 6 months, but students have the flexibility to complete the course sooner since some part of the content is self-pace. We expect students will finish the course in 6 months, working at ~20 hours per week.
There are modules in the course which focus on career components. In those modules, you’ll learn the latest job hunting strategies and work 1:1 with your career coach to create a successful job search strategy, build your network in tech, craft a cyber security analyst resume and LinkedIn profile, practice mock technical and behavioral interviews, debrief after actual job interviews, and negotiate your salary. We expect you to land a cybersecurity analyst job within six months of course graduation.
