BEFORE WE START

Before we start, you should know that Family Fest has a flow to it.  Earlier in the day, from mid-morning to early afternoon, the festivities are geared towards kids and teenagers. As the day progresses, the events cater to more of a mature crowd.  Not only is it the perfect place for teenagers to hang out and enjoy themselves, it's also the perfect night for parents to extend their normal curfew.  The concerts start at 7:15pm and wrap up around 11:15pm - so let the kiddos know you'll be out a little later.

We know you loved the Fatherhood Awards.  How?  Because y'all told us.  If you haven't attended a Fatherhood Awards, don't worry.  We'll be sure to keep you in the know, so stay tuned. Red Tail Pavilion (formerly The Amphitheater at Oak Point Park) in Plano, Texas, is the perfect outdoor venue for this electric atmosphere.  Once again, we have something for everyone.  We have incredible live performances, shopping, food and fun for the entire family.

If you like the Neo Soul party vibe, you will definitely want to close out the evening at Neo Soul Night Under The Stars.  It's our live concert series featuring Soulful Soundz, Tomea & 'NEM, N'Dygo Jones, and Ascension Live. 

Family Fest DFW definitely brings back those good vibes.  Just like those good ole family reunions.  NEO SOUL NIGHT UNDER THE STARS is an event that gives grown folks the perfect excuse to hang out a little longer. Everyone can enjoy the tasty dishes served up by local food trucks and food vendors delivering their best recipes to keep you satisfied and full. So keep a dollar or two in the budget for bundt cakes, barbecues, canjun dishes, cotton candy, stuffed turkey legs, popcorn, snow-cones, and well, you get the picture.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR FAMILY FEST DFW

1. Bring a lawn chair and your favorite cooler. To VIE THE BEST AVAILABLE SEATS click: Neo Soul Night Under The Stars - The show starts at 7:15pm.
2. Arrive a little bit earlier and check out our resident DJ Sneaky Pete on the 1's & 2's.
3. Spend a little Q.T. with family & old school friends.
4. Get a Family Fest DFW "Bingo Board" from any of our vendors. Stop by a vendor and get a stamp. Turn in your "Bingo Board" to any of our ushers and look for your name on the BIG SCREEN.  We'll be giving away extra tickets all night long. So don't let anyone know we let the cat out of the bag.
5. Enjoy the food trucks, food stations, and the arts & craft vendors.

TOMEA - Confirmed!

This year Tomea & NEM will be featured at Family Fest.  She has quickly become a DFW favorite and it's a "whole-other situation" when she's on the stage.  Guys, let us warn you, when the ladies start to sing with Tomea your best bet is to just sit back and enjoy the show.

SOULFUL SOUNDZ - Confirmed!

Soulful Soundz has got to be the #1 party band in the DFW metroplex.  Along with other artists (soon to be named - you all know how these contractual situations go), Soulful Soundz will blaze the stage at Family Fest.  We promise it will be an all out party!

If you attended our signature awards show, The Fatherhood Awards, you know how we do it.  Only this time, we're doing it bigger!  Now there is one thing to consider.  A party ain't a party, and it doesn't feel like family if you're not here. Let's make it a date and join us at Family Fest.
