Golden Door Awards 2020

This Medal is empowered by the Karmaveer Chakra instituted by iCONGO in partnership with the United Nations

A greater emphasis in the judging process is given to Truthteller - Writers who are Champions for positive change.

Judy Dlamini

Gold Medal

My Truth is that people are born equal. Positive affirmation and relevant support will enable each one to achieve their full potential and serve their life’s purpose. One of my tasks is to show the ‘’underdogs’’ what they are capable of, through sharing success of people who look like them.

Tony Knight

Silver Medal

The Truth I postulate is that all people are encoded with the truth, in their natural design. My mission is to unlock these elemental truths for the betterment of humanity, by creating new stories, and applying the universal wisdom, to awaken us to our full energy and conscious awareness.

Christine Amour-Levar

Bronze Medal

I believe life is a succession of circumstances, coincidences and opportunities. These choices define our destiny. Ultimately, closest to my heart is my advocacy work protecting vulnerable women and our beautiful planet, and I plan to continue to use my passion for sports and adventure as a way to impact the world in a positive way.

Roshani Shenazz

Bronze Medal

My spiritual calling, unveiled in 2010, is my living truth. I endeavour to lead through example. My Truth is facilitating fellow humans to achieve 'Spiritual Freedom' by integrating all of life; with love, truth, and compassion. I pray to assist each one, recognise the divine potential within themselves and others.

Angie Makwetla

Bronze Medal

My Truth is that when women are free to take opportunities that life affords them, then the children, and the country, will thrive. Empowerment of women is the most effective development tool. All children deserve to be brought up in an environment of respect and non-violence. Freedom and security of the person is a fundamental human right

Eirliani Abdul Rahman

Bronze Medal

I like to speak Truth to power. I am an incest survivor and I recognise the social and institutional barriers when it comes to disclosing. I give a voice to the voiceless by storytelling. I am writing a sequel to “Survivors”, working with people of colour and/or who are LGBTQI.

Prasenjit K Basu

Bronze Medal

My Truth is to find the commonalities that bind all Asians - and ultimately all humans - by cutting past the colonial narratives that have led us to believe that we are all vastly different. The fluidity of religion and culture is quintessentially Asian, and this trait enables harmonious living.

Henry Toi

Bronze Medal

I seek the Truth about our world, about who we are and what we are. Increasingly the truth is being drowned out by a sea of fallacies, some of which are fabricated for selfish purposes and some are perpetuated by well meaning and caring people. We must stand for truths.

Rusty Labuschagne

Bronze Medal

My Truth is that people can overcome extreme conditions, injustice and trauma. The power of forgiveness, a positive mental attitude, and the value and importance in gratitude, bring true freedom. Don't let the past ruin your future or create your own prison whilst totally free with trivial issues.

Jeremy Monteiro

Bronze Medal

When I am able to be quiet, I can hear the silent voice of inspiration and Truth, which I then relay in my music and my writing. I am also mindful of noticing when spiritual pride arises and continuously work toward increasing congruency between my words, my work and my actions.

Mette Johansson

Bronze Medal

We should always be true to our values and a purpose for the greater good. Living by our values is the only thing that makes us authentic. It takes a lot of guts to live by these every day – but it is the road to happiness and fulfilment.

Mak Koon Hou

Bronze Medal

I seek the Truth about our world, about who we are and what we are. Increasingly the truth is being drowned out by a sea of fallacies, some of which are fabricated for selfish purposes and some are perpetuated by well meaning and caring people. We must stand for truths.

Kua Ee Hock

Bronze Medal

The pain of the mind is worse than the pain of the body. The stigma of mental illness is pervasive but the indefatigable effort of mental health professionals in the de-stigmatization campaign is a testament that change is possible if we have an undefeated mind.

Natalie Turner

Bronze Medal

My Truth is that everyone can innovate. Everyone can contribute their skills and passions to creating new ideas and making them work. Our talents are not our own, they are part of a bigger truth and purpose pulsating through us that wants to be born, known and experienced.

Doors have been opened for my message and my writings. I stepped into public speaking through TV interviews, panels and talkshows, expanding my reach internationally.

The Golden Door has created a platform for truth tellers & seekers from around the world to share their gifts. I feel blessed and honoured to be involved, and I see a bright future, as I think this platform is going to be a leader in positive world change."

Tony Knight, New Zealand

Golden Door - RKGF Medal (Silver)

This award will help my book "Yes, You Can Innovate" to reach out and inspire more people to create impact from new ideas.

I would like to thank Tahira Amir Sultan Khan for turning the key of The Golden Door and unleashing such a worthwhile initiative into the world.

Natalie Turner, Malaysia, UK

Golden Door - RKGF Medal (Bronze)

An initiative possible because of the fearless and graceful Founder of the Golden Door Awards, Tahira Amir Sultan Khan.

She and Golden Door are now a shining crucible which will act as a centre and a beacon for truth, transformation and action for all of us to help build a beautiful New Earth.

Jeremy Monteiro, Singapore

Golden Door - RKGF Medal (Bronze)

The Founder, Tahira Amir Sultan Khan, has truly created a platform to explore the truth from various angles. And that is the most important thing when we want to advance society: that we can thoroughly explore each others' truths.

Mette Johannson, Singapore

Golden Door - RKGF Medal (Bronze)

The timing of the superb Golden Door to expose endless hidden truths, by brilliant authors and speakers, was perfect.

This troubled world is desperate for such platforms. We have grown exponentially during the training, and I pray that this is the foundation of a great future in exposing truths.

Rusty Labuschagne, South Africa, Zimbabwe

Golden Door - RKGF Medal (Bronze)

Thank you so much for the initiative. I am really blessed by it. I finally found a group of passionate truth writers that I can relate to.

The Awards have certainly been enriching, exciting and endearing. The talks, discussion and debates are all powerful and meaningful.
