I'M GLAD YOU'RE HERE
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
You're tired of restrictive diets that leave you feeling deprived and frustrated. You've tried "everything" and nothing works.
Your binge eating that leaves you feeling out of control and ashamed. You might hide wrappers and evidence, feeling like this is your "dirty little secret."
You’re struggling with your appearance and feeling uncomfortable in your own skin. Looking in the mirror can feel like a battle, shopping for clothes sucks, and scrolling on social media makes you wonder if you'll ever feel confident and happy in your own body… like other women appear to.
YOU'RE NOT ALONE. SO MANY AMAZING WOMEN, JUST LIKE YOU, STRUGGLE WITH THESE CHALLENGES.
These are all totally normal feelings! But the good news is, there's a way out.
You can break free from this cycle and build a healthier relationship with food and your body. You're in the right place.
HI, I'M NIC
Having recovered from binge eating disorder and body image issues myself, I'm passionate about empowering women to heal their relationship with food, eating, and their bodies.
You're not alone in this struggle! Allow me to support you on your journey.
MY STORY
Remember those low-carb fads and airbrushed magazine models of the 90s and early 2000s? Yeah, they messed with us all, myself included. I spent years battling Binge Eating Disorder and body image struggles thanks to diet culture's BS rules and the pursuit of "ideal" body types.
For a while, since I was about 11 years old, I believed in the whole "happiness is a size" idea. I truly believed that my appearance dictated my worth and whether anybody would ever love me. So, I tried everything to maintain the smallest body possible – fad diets, gym memberships, fat burners, skinny teas, cleanses, and meal replacement shakes. You name it, I’ve probably given it a shot.
By my early twenties, things escalated. Having finally been diagnosed with Binge Eating Disorder, a heart condition and classified as morbidly obese BMI, my doctor warned me about my health and recommended weight loss surgery as an urgent option. Back then, it felt like the only way out. So, I made a big financial decision to get the surgery and withdrew all my retirement savings at 23 to have a gastric sleeve. I achieved my dream body, but guess what? The binge thoughts and body shame didn't go away. Losing weight wasn't the magic solution or freedom I'd hoped for.
I realized true healing was about more than changing my outward appearance. It was about addressing my relationship with food, myself, and my body image. Unfortunately, after my surgery, support dwindled, and as a student, therapy wasn't affordable for me. Determined to finally heal from binge eating, I focussed my Master's degree on eating disorders and body image. This knowledge, combined with my lived experience and mindfulness tools from my time in India, formed the foundation of my signature program.
My story with my body and recovery is what sparked my passion to help others on this journey, but let's face it, the mental health system isn't exactly friendly, overly helpful or accessible.
Finding therapy that's relatable and affordable can feel like searching for that elusive perfect pair of jeans- damn impossible. That's why I created a range of free resources like my guides, online group, blog and podcast. I also offer self-help workbooks, personalised therapy, and now, an online group coaching course! I believe world-class support shouldn't be a privilege, and I'm here to level up the game for us.
You don't have to wait until things hit rock bottom to seek help. You deserve to feel empowered and in control, not just when things are good, but every step of the way.
So, are you ready to reclaim your life? Let's chat - I'm here to walk alongside you on this journey to food freedom and body acceptance!
