Nick here from Action Kitchens.
For those who don’t know much about me, I started my working life as a carpenter. So I understand a lot of the logistical issues most builder’s face. I believe a lot of clients don’t actually understand how much experience is required, from their builder to ensure their project can be delivered on time and on budget.
Let alone the importance of finding and using professional subcontractors or tradespeople to help deliver their projects. In this Blog I’m going to share with you the services we provide our builders, that decide to partner with Action Kitchens and the benefits we could have for your clients.

SERVICES
We have recognized that not all of our builders and their clients have the same requirements. To cater for this we have established 2 main services we provide for your builders.
Design, Spec & Installation
Our Design Spec & Build service is tailored to suit residential builders completing projects including
Custom New Homes
Renovations
This service includes a detailed design service where we liaise directly with yourself & your clients to provide them with detailed cabinetry designs & Specifications.
Before we meet with your clients we will establish a clear brief or scope of works that you have included in your agreement with your client. This is to ensure we are meeting any budget or design requirement you have previously discussed with your clients.
We will provide your team with a detailed set of plans & specifications for your projects. Backed up with site meetings to ensure all the details are coming together on site. You can expect the following from us at Action Kitchens:
- Clear communication from us with yourself & your clients
- Unique design input to meet your client's expectations
- On-Time delivery of cabinetry to ensure your projects flow smoothly
- Plans & Specifications for internal finishes
This service is best-suited for builders that normally work from construction plans from a building designer or Architect who hasn’t provided an internal finishes schedule or cabinetry plans.
Supply & Installation
Our Supply & Installation service is for builders, that are heavily involved in the Design & Build process with their clients. Or for clients who have engaged an interior designer or building designer, to complete the design & spec phase of all their cabinetry & internal finishes.
With this service, Action Kitchens will review all supplied concept plans and specifications to ensure all designs & specifications are buildable. We will liaise with your designers to ensure we build the client's cabinetry to suitable specifications.
Included in this service:
- Site meetings with Designer & Or Clients
- Liaise with interior designers or Architects to ensure requirements are being met.
- Communicate with your team on installation timelines
- Designer Education (Action Kitchens is happy to provide additional help for designers to ensure we, receive the information required for the project to avoid any confusion or miscommunication on your building projects)
If you are a builder that offers an in-house design and build service or have preferred interior designers you currently work with, then our supply & installation service could be a good fit for your client's cabinetry requirements.
OUR COMMITMENT
Planning & Preconstruction
We understand a lot of time & resources are required in planning a reno or new build. We want to help you with your preliminary pricing & client proposal. We understand that it can be difficult to provide accurate estimates for cabinetry if there is little-to-no detail available to you. We can provide pricing guides with sample projects to give your clients an accurate guide on what is achievable with the budgets you have allocated.
We can provide you with marketing material to show clients what is possible with their available budget.

My passion for the construction industry started as a young boy. I was always building and fixing things, which has lead me to become a qualified carpenter & cabinetmaker.
Today, I'm the Owner & Designer at Action Kitchens.
My passion for the industry and our clients have developed the way Action Kitchens is today. We aim to deliver exceptional cabinetry to our clients with hassle free design and project management.
We really wanted to make our client's design & build journey stress free and enjoyable.
We achieve that by meeting with all our clients personally, so we can understand their unique requirements. We ask the how and why through our design process to ensure that no details are overlooked.
