As a Private Practice Nurse Practitioner, I hold dual certification as a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, as well as certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Recognizing the challenges of managing urgent mental health needs during routine medical visits in my years of practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner, I pursued further education, obtaining a post-master's degree as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My approach emphasizes comprehensive care, addressing emotional and physical well-being beyond psychiatric evaluations. My extensive educational background and clinical experience enable me to offer expert medication management services. My range of services includes evaluation, medication management, and patient education, specializing in diagnosing and treating conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, among others. My educational journey began at the University of Maryland School of Nursing, where I obtained certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2003. I dedicated ten years to family medicine before returning to the same institution to earn a Post Master's Degree in Family Psychiatric Mental Health in 2014.
