More About Laura Rose
I understand what a privilege it is to delight in the ecstasy of my feminine body.
My wish is for women everywhere to experience the magic of their own sensations- to love their body. We’ve been fed many contradicting lies about how a woman’s body is ‘supposed’ to function in society.
My intention for creating The Honey Pot is to create a loving space free from judgment, where we as women get to celebrate our sex. We do this through the presence of our breath and observation of sensation. When we slow down to feel, move and receive the miracle of our bodies, we can deepen the relationship we have with our body and, in turn, with the world around us- our earth.
At one point in college, I stepped on the scale and it read 200 lbs. I was so ashamed of how my body had “failed” me. Now, I look back at that scared, disconnected young woman and I have so much respect for her. I want to hold her and tell her that it’s not your fault. It’s okay. I want her to know that loving your body is possible. Not only love your body, but you get to feel good. Together you are creating a magical life.
I have always been a sensual person. In high school, I was the one you went to with your sex questions. I helped a friend orgasm for the first time in my friend’s bathroom. Sex was intuitive for me at a young age.
This intuitive knowing led me to study neo tantra with teachers Dawn Cartright and Margo Anand. I am humbled to follow the Sri Vidya Shakta Tantra Lineage and infuse these teachings into our monthly embodiment sessions.
