Spiritual Communion Prayer!

Spiritual Communion Prayer!

My Jesus, I believe that

You are present in the

Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all

things, and I desire to

receive You into my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment

receive You sacramentally,

come at least spiritually

into my heart.

I embrace You as if You

were already there and

unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be

separated from You.

Amen

Our Lady of Guadalupe!

Guadalupe: The Miracle and the Message

The most important event in the evangelization of the New World occurred in December, 1531. Over the course of four days, the Virgin Mary, under the title of Our Lady of Guadalupe, appeared to an indigenous convert named Juan Diego. As a result of this encounter, and the image miraculously imprinted on Juan Diego's tilma (cloak), nine million Native Americans embraced the Catholic faith, and the Americas began its transformation into the Catholic hemisphere. Our Lady of Guadalupe's message of love had replaced the institutionalized violence of the Aztec culture and built a bridge between two worlds.

Guadalupe: The Miracle and the Message traces the history of this transformative event from the 16th century to the present. Featuring interviews with leading theologians, historians, and experts on the scientific inquiries into the miraculous image, this gripping film explores both the inexplicable mysteries behind the image, and the continued relevance of the Guadalupe apparition to the modern world.

The Apostles' Creed!

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting.
Amen.

'The Apostles' Creed is so called because it is rightly considered to be a faithful summary of the apostles' faith. It is the ancient baptismal symbol of the Church of Rome. Its great authority arises from this fact: it is 'the Creed of the Roman Church, the See of Peter, the first of the apostles, to which he brought the common faith. '

- from the Catechism of the Catholic Church; 194.

'This Creed is the spiritual seal, our heart's meditation and an ever-present guardian; it is, unquestionably, the treasure of our soul. '

- Saint Ambrose.

Perpetual Novena to St. Joseph- Patron of the Universal Church

Perpetual Novena to St. Joseph- Patron of the Universal Church

Glorious St. Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, obtain for me and all members of my family and loved ones, a confident, sinless, generous, and patient heart, and perfect resignation to the Divine Will. Be our guide, father and model throughout life, that we may merit a death life yours, in the arms of Jesus and Mary.

Help us, St. Joseph, in our earthly strife to fulfill our responsibilities and ever to lead a pure and blameless life. All for the Sacred and Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, all through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, all in union with St. Joseph. Amen

Remember, O most pure spouse of the blessed Virgin Mary, my sweet protector, St. Joseph, that no one ever had recourse to your protection, implored our help, or sought your mediation, without obtaining relief. Confiding, therefore, in your goodness, I come into your presence and fervently recommend myself to your care and protection. O despise not, most loving foster-father of my Redeemer, the petition of your humble client, but graciously hear and grant it. Amen.

(Here silently offer one's intention)

Dear St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms, I dare not approach while he reposes there near your heart. Embrace him in my name, and kiss his fine head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for us.

Pray for us, O Blessed St. Joseph

That we may be worthy of the promise of Christ.
