What is Wrestling
and Grappling?
The terms grappling and wrestling are often (incorrectly) used interchangeably, but there are some key differences between the two disciplines. Wrestling is an extremely physical discipline that emphasizes take-downs and throws. While grappling is centered around submission holds and effective ground control, it can involve clinch fighting, throws, take-downs and ground fighting. The two modalities are distinctly different, but complimentary to elevating your level
of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Our Grappling program will introduce you to NoGi Grappling, a style of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu without the traditional uniform or Gi. Grappling includes aspects of wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Judo and Sambo and even anti-wrestling. Our program includes both fundamental and advanced training. Our advanced training currently focuses on leg entries and submissions, that are currently very popular in competition grappling.
