So, how can you really make sure that you are making the right choice in choosing your CRM? 

Asking me or anyone what CRM should I use is like asking someone what kind of car should I buy?  Do you have kids, do you want electricity, how far do you drive, do you need a roomy trunk?  etc...  Same with a CRM. We need to know way more about you than just throw out a software name.   When we privately talk to Agents we need to ask YOU questions like:

1. How many email addresses do you have?
2. What phone do you use?
3. What computer do you have?
4. What cloud storage service(s) do you use?
5. How do you currently keep in touch with your past, current and future clients?
6. What CRMs have you tried and why don't you like them?

I can tell you that we NEED to know all of the above and more to give you a really great answer. 😮😮

However, here are a few tips when researching:

• OWN YOUR OWN DATA - Yes, your brokerage might entice you to use theirs (Kvcore, Moxiworks, etc.), but think about the future and you want to leave(Yes, I know ....you will never leave lol but I can guarantee you that life happens and you MAY leave) .....do they allow you to export all the data?  All drips, all contacts, all deals?  Probably not, so why not start off on the right foot, using a CRM where you will always own your own data, regardless of which brokerage you are with!
• OWN YOUR OWN DATA - worth mentioning two or three times.   Do NOT use your brokerage email address or CRM. Choose a CRM where you always own your data, even if you change brokerages. Some broker-provided CRMs do not allow you to export all your data, including contacts, deals, and drip campaigns.
• PRICE– When Agents say I use this CRM or this website because it is FREE  when I am with xxxx brokerage.   IT IS NOT FREE.  It is included in your fees and they own the data.  They might say, no worries, the contacts are yours BUT.... you spend all this time setting up drip campaigns, newsletters and more and that is all gone when and if you leave. 
• SUPPORT– The quality of customer support matters. Find out how responsive the CRM's support team is and whether they outsource their support services. You don't want to be left with unanswered questions or issues.
• 💕SYNC - Does it sync with your contacts/calendar/email? – This is probably one of the most important things you should always look for in a CRM. Your CRM's ability to sync with your email/contacts /calendar is huge.  This is what is possible when YOUR systems are all integrated. 
  • You edit a contact on your phone and it updates on your computer, your tablet, your CRM and vice versa.
  • You add a calendar event on your CRM and it updates everywhere else and vice versa. 
    • ONE UPDATE>>>ONE TIME!!! Technology is amazing and your CRM should do this. No more updating multiple databases! One update does it all.
  • You CRM should NOT be stand alone.  Manually adding info to it and then having to do it again everywhere, that is the definition of insanity. LOL. 😁
• DRIP CAMPAIGNS are automations set up once for a specific type of client.  Imagine having the ability to communicate with your past and potential clients using an automated approach? Drip Campaigns are awesome and allow you to seamlessly reach out to your clients – ask them how it is going, send an email during their house anniversaries, or even have a task to remind you to call them on their anniversary or send them a card on their birthday. It’s a fantastic way to remind your clients you are there whenever they or someone they know needs help in buying/selling a home.  Building and KEEPING relationships!
