Dedicated time in which to look ahead (to tomorrow, next week, next year, the rest of your life) and think about what you'd like to do - and when. Plus a chance to find an accountability partner, if you'd like one.

 

MONDAY 23rd: 5-6pm BST

A focused and friendly coworking space 

We'll say a quick hello and then get stuck into 50 minutes of focused activity in silence, alongside one another. Bring your work, your knitting, tackle something you've been putting off - the choice is yours. Just do it with us.

 

MONDAY 23rd: 6-7pm BST

Social hangout on Ozzo

Come and explore new events platform, Ozzo - an opportunity to hang out and chat with other community members.

 

TUESDAY 24th: 7-8:15pm

Discussion and Q&A with special guests: Unlocking creativity

A conversation exploring a range of approaches to making, doing and thinking creatively with Steve Chapman, Elena Cobez and Bruce Anderson

 

WEDNESDAY 25th: 5-6pm BST

A little farewell

An opportunity to catch up with people you've met over the last few weeks, exchange details, make plans and share your experiences of being part of the Curious Community.

Meet others and find out more about what will be happening throughout the month.

TUESDAY 3rd: 9-10am BST

WEDNESDAY 4th: 5:30-6:30pm BST

Community show-and-tell 1: Something not many people know about me is...

A chance to get to know your fellow community members in a relaxed and light-hearted atmosphere. Share a little of who you are and what makes you tick - or just listen, if that's what you prefer. Absolutely no pressure to be in the limelight. Do whatever feels right for you.

 

The theme for this show-and-tell is: "Something not many people know about me is..."

Bring along an object, an old photo, a story, something that amuses, inspires or fascinates you or anything else you feel like sharing to help us get to know you better. 

 

THURSDAY 5th: 7-8:30pm BST

Workshop with Katie: Noticing and ways of knowing

Explore different ways of tuning into the things you know - but may not realise you know! An interactive session with time for reflection, writing and very small group conversations.

 

FRIDAY 6th: 7-8:15pm BST

Discussion and Q&A with special guests: Talking about 'difficult' things (part 1)

A conversation with Kate Monro, author of Losing It and Jude Claybourne, co-host of the Past Imperfect podcast, exploring the challenges of talking about sex, trauma and addiction.

 

SATURDAY 7th: 5-6pm BST

The Reciprocity Ring: a chance to ask for and offer help 

A chance to reflect on something you might like to ask for and to offer your help to others. No matter how big or small your request - come and join us to see what's possible when we get together.

A conversation with Kay Scorah, Jude Claybourne and Duncan Alldridge.

Workshop with Katie: Identity, drivers and limiting beliefs

Who do you think you are? What beliefs do you have about yourself and what's possible for you? An interactive session with time for reflection, writing and very small group conversations.

A conversation with Danielle North, founder of Pause Global, and Rob Poynton, author of DO Pause.

Workshop with Katie: Your personal gifts and skills

What is the difference between skills and gifts - and how can uncovering your gifts help you to get clearer about your direction and purpose in life? An interactive session with time for reflection, writing and very small group conversations.
