Viraja's Story

Viraja is an adventurous and loving soul.

Connection, intimacy, relationships, and sexuality have always been her passions.

This is living for her.

Growing up she would explore nature…

the forests, the waters, and the animals. She would make music, art and friends. She would observe and study the way those around her would communicate, connect, and share with each other.

Viraja explored all types of relationships.

From her first “date” in Kindergarten to a multitude of relationship styles and configurations.

Much of what drew her was the emergent intimacy and the energy exchange.

In her 20’s, at massage school, she acquired language for so many things she had been experiencing and was so naturally gifted at ... subtle energy, energy healing, and hands on healing work.

Spiritual Awakening #1

In 2000, a traumatic ending of a relationship catalyzed Viraja’s first spiritual awakening. She realized that the issue was not out there, not any boyfriend or situation. The common denominator was her, thus it had to be coming from her. (big gulp)

This was the beginning of a deep dive, head first into personal growth and healing.

The most important person who needed to love and understand her, was her and Viraja was determined to do this.

Birth

Spiritual Awakening #2

In 2006, Viraja birthed her first son. Her steadfast dedication to her woman's wisdom and body intelligence kept her present for her profound natural home birth initiation.

After 62 hours of the most painful labor possible (a posterior baby)...

She had a spiritual breakthrough that then allowed her to open up, to trust, and to welcome this new soul onto the planet.

Two hours later (at 64 hours), Viraja delivered her healthy baby boy in a hot tub on a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Spiritual Awakening # 3

Viraja had a near death experience in 2016, after falling off a galloping horse, that dissolved the barriers between knowing and not knowing. The illusion of separation dissolved completely into supreme light and then came crashing back to thrust expreme darkness and pain. What emerged on the other side is the profound truth that all souls on this planet are here for a great reason. It is our responsibility to know this reason for ourselves.

This reason gives our souls the right to thrive here, to live as the love we are and share the gifts we came here to share.

Today, after eons of being misunderstood, Viraja more fully understands her unique essence and role. She can now reconcile the pain, betrayal, heartbreak and challenge of being human and chooses to live and love fully through this perfectly imperfect human body and life.

What's in a Name?

In 2003, Viraja was given her current name by one of her master teachers, the hugging saint Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi). This embodiment of Universal Love, saw into Viraja’s soul and bestowed the name upon her that years later proves its significance again and again.

Viraja, in Sanskrit, means one without fear, impurities, hatreds, or non-beneficial desires. This is then followed by Prema, which means Universal Love.

The Personal & Professional

Viraja’s personal life and work emulates the journey of her name. This is the return to fully knowing we are… Pure Love. This in turn also, re-establishes our capacity for true intimacy.

Viraja assists her clients in realizing the love they are and always have been. She guides and facilitates the clearing of old pain and patterns, and letting go of that which blocks their heart and soul. Thus, they become one “without” such fear, impurities, hatred and non-beneficial desires and through their liberated heart, mind and body they directly access Universal Love.

They remember who they truly are…Love.

Service

Viraja has helped thousands of clients during the past 30 years through her Love and Intimacy Coaching and Programs.

She is a master energy worker, healer and facilitator who has traveled the world learning, teaching and sharing. This led her to the graduate school where she has yet to complete her dissertation for her Ph.D. in Integral Studies. Viraja weaves her life experience and formal training and leads with compassion, empathy, wisdom, intuition and love (sprinkled with playfulness).

She has spent over 15,000 hours (and lifetimes) helping people in the fields of personal growth and development, intimacy and relating, healing and empowerment, spirituality and awakening.

Stages

Viraja shines on stages big or small. Early on, she delighted in playing the flute then conducted and entertained crowds as the mascot for 3 years in High School and later while at University of the Pacific. She has hosted and spoken on FM talk radio, numerous podcasts and stages across the globe. She has acted on screen, performed in live theater and advocated locally, regionally and nationally. Viraja

Motherhood

Parenting as a Spiritual Path

From pregnancy to parenthood, all has been an essential part of her spiritual growth.

This journey is humbling as well as profoundly evokative.

Both boys had natural home water births and the father of her boys today is an ascension ally and conscious co-parent. Together they co-create a highly functioning family home where they raise the boys together.

Today, Viraja is happiest when she is

connected to her essence.
