FAQ
The Road to Gastrointestinal Healing Program Common Questions
Why does the program cost so much?
The program covers all three tests, the two GI-MAP stool test kits and the one MRT test kit. Additionally, you will also receive a custom protocol based on the findings in those tests that focus on diet, supplements and lifestyle recommendations. Lastly, you’ll receive seven one-on-one sessions throughout the program to ensure your success.
Creating your protocol means spending several hours reviewing markers on your test and ensuring that the supplement recommendations are right for you. This means if you are taking medication, we take additional precautions to ensure there aren’t any reactions or side effects when continuing your existing treatment from your doctor.
Why aren’t the supplements included in the initial price?
There is no way to determine how much your supplements will cost until you have completed the testing. Supplements are recommended based upon the findings on your test only. However, we do offer 10% off all supplements to clients in the program.
How does the testing work?
Once you sign up for the program and complete the required documentation, you will then receive both test kits via mail. Instructions on how to complete each test are provided in your test kit boxes and through your back office where you will have videos guiding you through the process. You’ll immediately receive login details once you have purchased the program.
How does the program work?
The first 12 weeks of the program is when you will have completed the first round of testing, which includes one GI-MAP and the MRT test. Each test will allow us to gain insight into what is happening in your gut, while also identifying what foods that will be right for you.
If you have signed up for the six-month program, then after the 12-week period, you will retest the GI-MAP stool test and see if you have made progress. The remaining time on the program will be dedicated to ongoing healing and support. If we find you’ve made significant progress, which is not uncommon, this will be the maintenance phase of the program.
*Please note we do offer additional testing if needed to extend either program*
Does the program offer meal prep options?
No, I will craft a meal plan based upon your unique results. You will receive a list of food items that you can eat and foods that you will need to avoid for a period of time. All of which will be based upon the findings on the MRT food sensitivity test. Our approach is to simply give you the tools so that you can be successful.
