Pupil Workshops and Assemblies
Match Fit for Learning,
Life and Work in 2023
2020 was due to be an Olympic year, but all that changed in March 2020. Everything that was normal for athletes and their peak performance teams had to be re-evaluated. There are powerful parallels between the way athletes train and learning in schools. Schools work in terms and athletes work in seasons, schools work in blocks of lessons, while athletes have periodised training, and both work in peak performance environments to build capacity year on year, with world class coaches and teachers.
With an increased number of children spending time on non educational screen based activity, it is now more important than ever to move children away from the sedation of screens and back towards recreation in a way that is age and stage specific.
Flagship Schools Assemblies Programme
(Powerful Presentations and Critical Communications in 2023)
.
A new year is a time to make a fresh start, and traditionally, with Martin Luther King Day and Robert Burns night both in January, this programme celebrates diversity and helps children find their voice on the smallest to the biggest platforms. Assemblies are one of the most effective ways of bringing everyone together around a common purpose.
This is about mastering the inner and outer games of modern communication, safely and effectively reawakening all of those tiny contact points and magical connections that were lost in lockdown. The transferable skills of mastering powerful presentations and critical conversations are needed in every aspect of blended learning.
The 7 H.E.A.L.T.H.Y Secrets for Successful Primary Transitions
"In times of transition our future is shaped."
Before the start of the global pandemic in 2020, there was a clear pathway in the transition between primary to secondary, and on to further education, with tried and tested programmes which supported young people as they prepared to run the gauntlet, through their teenage years.
Right now offline, we may be fighting a virus called Covid19, but online there are literally millions of viral programs that are fighting for children’s time, attention and focus. In this powerful course, Andy helps young people level up their skillsets, mindsets and networks so they can be match fit for 2023 across Learning, Life and Work.
