Dr. Melisha Franks' Story
Melisha is an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy trained provisionally licensed psychologist. Melisha runs a successful group practice - she loves therapy and doesn't imagine stopping seeing clients at this point - but she noticed that the stress and complexity of running a practice was doing something to her mind.
"My mind was always planning," she confides. Even after hiring a team, she found herself wearing too many hats in her business.
She had been thinking of an online course for couples even before the pandemic, but not knowing where to get started stopped her for a long time.
Melisha Had A Dream, But She Needed Support
Melisha wanted ease and flow in her days. She wanted to pull back on clinical work to simply create more space in her life to rest, spend time with her family and take on more of a CEO role.
We focused on niching Melisha's future course from a general course for couples into something super specific (married couples who had drifted apart but were committed to staying together).

In each session, we cover a central topic (see the core curriculum), but instead of a lame PowerPoint presentation, we're doing work and getting helpful feedback from other successful colleagues. (All mastermind participants have been in business 5+ years and are earning six-figures.)
Melisha was able to get helpful feedback from her cohort and the STC team of coaches, and by the end, she was ready to pilot her course to a group of paying students, completed her sales page and had the course curriculum outlined and ready to get her clients' results.
