Mastery Indistinguishable From Magic Makes Success Inevitable
This type of magic comes from a depth of alignment and congruence that most can’t fathom, haven’t done the work to uncover or have the courage to wield. It exists at the ever unfolding apex of our beingness - that place just at our fingertips where we are at one with the cause and effect. Where we cease acting but life itself acts through us.
This is high truth, not truth for the masses. This truth is for those who are meant to be pillars in the core architecture of what comes next.
As this society implodes, the pillars of a protopia are emerging. It's as if they were hidden there, in plain sight beneath some simple gossamer veil this entire time. This veil is opaque to those uninitiated masses embroiled in the illusion. To them it's all politics, promotions, taxes, losing 10 pounds and making Johnny's birthday "extra special".
Conversely, It has been transparent to the mystically inclined for decades. "The new reality our hearts have felt all along" is actually (not rhetorically) seeking reification and actualization.
But it's not until now that we've had sufficient chaos to loosen the fixation and distraction of the grand cultural striving for some absurd and illusory status quo. The current operating reality is now so threadbare and worn that it seems like a glitch, simulation or LARP by almost all those who are really watching.
“Supply Chain”, “Culture War” and “1%” are not inert news headlines, they’ve become memetic trigger heuristics that start a code of response in your mind and neurology pulling you back into the polarization, and the obfuscation of the illusion. This obsession with understanding “what’s true” is just an even more clever way to keep you shadowboxing in the dying light of the old world.
"Truth" is in short supply and our minds hate that.
Instead of seeking the peace of cognitive resolution, what if we just rested into our discomfort of not knowing and not resolving.
Where does that leave us? Simple. It leaves us saying " I don't know what's true. I don't know if I can know what's true, but I know what I choose to make true".
It is from that place we can return to first principles of Goodness, Truth and Beauty and act from wisdom building what must come next, instead of some manic, fever dream epilogue to this empire’s swan song.
This is the moment the metaphysically (or perhaps even mystically) informed entrepreneurs, founders and visionaries have been waiting for.
At this cross roads of realities, there is a deep and resonant call for a new role - A worldcrafter.
The worldcrafters are here to use their innate gifts to build that world that no one else can see.
This role requires that power, mastery and magic. But the worldcrafter is not born with power mastery or magic. It's not something that is bestowed upon them because they're uniquely special.
Power, Mastery and Magic are the rewards of the hero's journey. Joseph Campbell found the hero’s journey in the oral and written tradition of almost every culture in the world and it has a role to play now but it’s not just a clever storytelling device. It’s an alchemical process hastening the individual's evolution, sublimating the lead of a mediocre life into the gold of purpose and service.
If you want to activate your magic and mastery you have to embark on your own hero’s journey. You have to say “yes” to your quest.
The quest is different for every hero. But we have maps and we can chart the course of YOUR hero’s journey.
Gandalf had to fight a Balrog, die as Gandalf the Gray and re-emerge as Gandalf the White.
Atreau had to lose Artax in the swamp and learn the resilience of belief beyond doubt.
Luke had to find the magic that was already all around, should he be willing to wield it.
And you, running this company, building this technology, leading these people. You too are on a quest.
Maybe you’re riding high on your horse, across the golden plains ready for the final battle of the “investor pitch”, “shareholder meeting” or even the dreaded “talk” with your spouse.
Maybe you’re falling down the side of a mountain because you didn’t listen to the wisdom of that old man who was secretly a wizard.
What’s certainly true is that every hero’s journey is completed not because you got Excalibur or the Elder Wand, but because there was a fundamental shift inside the hero that allowed access to the power, wisdom, and willingness to be the One to stand in the face of a crumbling world and say “No”.
“No” to the division, “No” to the illusion, “No” to the defeat.
“Yes” to Goodness, Truth and Beauty. “Yes” to creating a game where everyone truly wins.
You are not living a life. You are on a quest.
You have not founded a business, you have created an engine of benevolence to save the world.
You are not a leader, you’re a protagonist.
Here’s what you’ve forgotten, my dear protagonist.
Arthur had Merlin
Harry had Dumbledore
Luke had Yoda.
The Hero’s Journey literally doesn’t not work without the Wizard who helps you on your path.
So the question now lies in your lap but your gut likely already knows that answer.
Is my life asking me to embark on my own hero's journey? To create an internal alchemical transformation so profound that what emerges from me must be magic?
This is the prerequisite step to earn the right and honor to be a worldcrafter.
Elon going all in on Tesla and SpaceX after PayPal. Taking it all down to zero and doubling down on the dream… that was a hero's journey.
In the absence of societally sanctioned rites of passage these inner transformational benchmarks have been missed. But they are critically necessary steps in the metaphysical arc of the creation of a world crafter. I would even say most won't achieve the mission they came here to fulfill in this lifetime if they don't go through the initiations in their own hero's journey.
This should be a gut check.
Now that you know this, what comes next? The first step of the hero's journey is "answering the call".
What you're reading right now is your call.
What you have to decide is if it's calling you. Right now, as you're reading this, find where truth lives in you. Is this call unlocking something inside you? Is there a resonant "Yes, life is calling me into my mastery. " Yes, I am meant to be the protagonist of my own life". " Yes, I can feel I'm meant to be a bridge between worlds and help build the protopia."
Being “called” is simultaneously an endless opportunity and specific responsibility. If you have access and vision to the good that could be created by you saying yes, you are responsible for the generating of that future. The future doesn’t need everyone to take the hero’s journey. The question is, does your future need you to?
