Michael's illustrious career spans leadership roles as CEO of a Maine-based sensor company and General Manager of a prominent multi-site semiconductor corporation, both of which were successfully acquired by larger entities, maintaining their operational excellence within their new parent organizations.

In his latest endeavors, Michael collaborated with a dedicated team to pioneer an innovative, implantable device for directly monitoring blood pressure in the heart. Currently, he spearheads a dynamic group at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, overseeing the production of a groundbreaking genetic drug that is injected into the brains of children who suffer from Aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase (AADC) deficiency.
