"Nicky came highly recommended by my Osteopath; she told me Nicky was an incredible women's physiotherapist. She was right! Nicky has been instrumental in my successful postpartum recovery. I first went to see Nicky for a 'Mummy MOT', and I have continued to see her for treatment and advice. Nicky is not only a highly knowledgeable and skilled medical practitioner, she is also warm and empathetic. I can't recommend Nicky enough."
"I want to express my deepest gratitude for your exceptional physiotherapy services. Your expertise not only addressed my back issues but also unearthed the stress-related connection. Your skill and dedication are truly commendable. I’ve recommended you to several friends, and they, too, have experienced the incredible results. Thank you for your outstanding care."
"I have had two fantastic experiences with Nicky after having both my children. I was referred by a friend to Nicky after trying to go back to exercise after giving birth and sustaining an injury because I had not done the appropriate prep work to do this successfully. I booked a Mummy MOT and I’m so glad that I did. Her care and knowledge was superb and I felt so at ease at all appointments. Having a fair amount of knowledge about exercise already she pitched everything at the perfect level and gave me the extra tools I needed to help rebuild my body after pregnancy and birth. After the birth of my second child I wasted no time in booking another MOT with her and this time my post natal recovery has been totally different. I have been able to rebuild my body and return to running far more efficiently and quickly, which I am so grateful for, as running serves so many benefits for me, both physically and mentally. I was in such a great position second time around that I ran a half marathon when my son was 16 months, even completing it in a faster time than I did pre both of my children. My only regret from my post natal journeys with Nicky, is that I didn’t go to her sooner the first time around."
"I recently booked a mummy MOT with Nicky and I was so glad I did! As I first time mum, I knew it was important for not only my baby to be happy & healthy, but for myself to be too! I wanted to make sure I understood the changes to my body and how to recover properly before jumping back into exercise and this is exactly what Nicky gave me. For session 1 we spoke through my current mental & physical health, as well as where I wanted to be in terms of getting back into exercise. I loved that Nicky is a mum herself which made her so relatable. She made me feel truly heard about my concerns and i felt so at ease discussing topics which are not the easiest when talking to someone new…we had a good few laughs! I am yet to book my session 2 but will be doing asap. I love that Nicky breaks everything into bite size chunks and really takes the pressure off trying to achieve too much all at once. Baby steps, it’s a marathon not a sprint. I can’t wait to have my session 2 and can’t thank Nicky enough for her guidance in my recovery. I would highly recommend to any mum out there to have a mummy MOT with Nicky, you will not regret and will give you the peace of mind we all need after such a big life change. "
"My wife recommended Nicky, who had been a huge help after having our first baby, and I had a fantastic sports massage and discussion about reducing knee pain from running. Nicky was very knowledgeable and professional. It was an extremely thorough appointment and many friends and family members have benefited from our recommendation to see Nicky."
"Nicky is an exceptional physiotherapist and lovely person. For me, her holistic approach to the body is fantastic, looking at how everything in interconnected, and how emotional and mental health effects are seen in the body. This was particularly relevant to me after an emotionally challenging few months was affecting my body. Nicky was caring, kind and honest, and went at the pace I was comfortable with. I really appreciated that her goal was for me to essentially not need physiotherapy anymore, instead of many practitioners who keep finding reasons for you to have to come back. She really wants you to be well. That being said, I'd go back every week if I could, Nicky is brilliant!"
" Nicky was personally recommended to me by my muay thai and yoga instructor following a difficult and very quick natural birth with a prem baby which then went on to cause me quite a lot of niggles. I've been seeing Nicky on and off for 18 months and I honestly don't know where I would be without her. I first saw Nicky at 7 weeks post baby with severe incontinence which has sadly been quickly dismissed by the hospital and doctors and where I'd been left to crack on with doing my pelvic exercises. I soon learnt this for me was totally the wrong approach as I had an over active pelvic floor that was in shock and trauma. Nicky helped provide a lot of clarity & answers which I was desperately seeking. I didn't even know a ladies pelvic phyiso existed but we should all be seeing one post birth like they do in Australia. Before baby and even in pregnancy I was pretty active with the gym and running however Nicky was very good at managing my expectations and has been really determined to help me whilst also being patience and kind. Every session Nicky always does a full check in on you and how you are feeling and coping and what are you doing for you. Nicky was also the one to say I think you have some minor PTSD from your birth and for me to get some additional help in a therapy called havening which she is in the final stages of completing. Every time I leave Nicky's safe and comforting treatment room I feel mentally lighter and optimistic that my body will continue to heal and get stronger. Nicky is super knowledgeable and I love that it was a difficult birth for her that sparked off her retraining from a normal phyiso to a pelvic physio specialist as she 100% understands you and can relate to the juggling of working, and being wife, mum & juggling day to day life. Her additional desire to learn havening therapy puts her at such an advantage in modern hollistic wellbeing. I was able to talk about a deeply traumatic time in hospital just after birth that was that slowly eating away at me and which now doesn't feel me with dread. For me the other aspect I've found deeply beneficial is the regular take away breathing, stretch and poses along with the recommendation of using something called the wand to help complement some of the treatment that Nicky provides. For anyone who is struggling post birth whether it was just a few weeks away or even a couple of years down the line I am confident that popping in and having a session with Nicky will significantly improve mental and physical health."
